What is the benefit of all these runs and Centuries ?...
SACHIN PONTING
Matches 413 293
Runs 16088 10888
Centuries 41 25
Average 43.95 43.72
No. Of WORLDCUPS Won 0 3

whereas Ponting manages to won 3 Worldcups, sachin Tendulkar has 0(ZERO).
Then what is the benefit of all these runs and centuries, when he never won a worldcup.
Ricky ponting has three WorldCups (Two under his captaincy) with his less runs and centuries.

Tendulkar's runs & centuries achived hi Crores of rupees personally and the Indian cricket has achived nothing

Stop glorifying Tendulkar for his False & useless achivement.

Hey fake Indian.. :-)
Ponting won 3 world cups?
I thought Australia had won them. What happened to the other 10 people in the team?
Did Ponting shoot them and keep the world cups for himself?
:-)
Anyway, you have a grouse against Tendulkar. Keep on shouting. You might grab the attention of some bystanders here - people with similar hatred for Sachin will come and nod their heads.
But many more will refuse to do that.

Friend, why to blame only sachin for not winning the world cups,in all the 3 occassions, how many times ponting single handely won the world cup for them..it is team australia won the world cup..all other members contributed in a way or other. In india we only blame sachin for not winning us the world cup...

Yuvi plays cricket when he wants to
by kotanaga bhanukiran on Feb 20, 2008 12:53 AM  | Hide replies

Hi,

I am not sure why shewag was dropped no rhyme or a reason why he was dropped for australia match. And for what reason they picked up Yuvraj only god knows. Yuv raj is like a prince he will play cricket when he wants to otherwise he is busy chasing skirts. He has the talent but he does not have the temperment. If sachin plays and scores a 100 people will say he played too many balls. If he scores 50 they say he did not score a 100. And when ever india looses the match they say remove sachin, Kya sachin akela poora score marega to baki log achaar banayenge kya.

Its high time that we dump yuv raj the prince and get a warrior like shewag, we need warriors not prince who is busy with princess

Drop Tendulkar. tendulkar has done nothing in this hole tournament. He is out of form now. He is playing for himself. When people criticise him, he plays one good innings and pepole say he is back in form. But in next matches he will continue his bad playing.
All his 16000 runs and centuries are worthless. He never helps the team to win a WorldCup ( Although he played in 5 worldcups in 18 years). In worldcup also he performs only in group matches. Then he failed in important matches like semifinal and final.
He is a greedy person, hungury for money only. He earns crores of rupees from endorsement deals. That is possible if he remains in the Indian team.
That is possible due to full support of Vengsarkar and Pawar (all from Mumbai). He scores godd score once in every
10 to 15 matches to keep his place and not for the team.

Players like Yuvraj only follows him, to remain in the team and earn money. He is creating a bad example for the younger players.

So drop Tendulkar for the benefit of Indian team and Cricket.

Aise bhi us se ab koi umeed nehi karta hai. Aaj usne puri tarah sabit bhi kar dia hai.
.......... Drop Tendulkar..........

It is good that we play Aus every now and then. The Aussie team keeps reminding our bowlers and batsmen how good they are. Last match's wake up call was for all the Indian batsmen who proved that they could not chase a target of 203.

Very well said Rajesh....India have always made heavy weather of small targets, we are the worst chasers, though i must say that we defend small targets very well, probably we are the best team in the world when it comes to defending small targets and the worst in chasing down any target more than 200...

When Pawar & Vengsarkar supports Tendulkar, why he wiil need the support of captain or any player. With support of Pawar & Vengsarkar he takes his place inthe team for granted. He can score as many as Centuries and ZEROs as per his wish. It does not matter team wins or looses.
Other players who does not have such Luxury needs support of the captain.

FIELDING THEORY-WILL ANYBODY LISTEN?
by Srinivasan Renganathan on Feb 19, 2008 11:05 PM

PLEASE DONT TELL THIS THEORY OF PLAYING A FIELDER LIKE KAIF, RAINA,UTHAPPA OR ANYBODY ONLY ON THE BASIS OF FIELDING. NO TEAM IN THE WORLD HAS SELECTED A PLAYER ONLY ON FIELDING SKILLS. EVEN JONTHY RODES, WAS SELECTED FOR HIS QUICK SCORING OF 30-40 RUNS COMIND DOWN AT NO-5 OR-6, VERY LATE IN THE BATTING ORDER AND THAT TOO WHEN SOUTH AFRICA HAD BETTER OPENING PLAYERS AND GOOD MIDDLE ORDER BATSMAN TO PROTECT RHODES. ONCE JHONTY RHODES COULD NOT SCORE, HE WAS FIRST LEFT OUT OF THE TEST TEAM AND ALSO LATER IN THE ONE DAYERS AND WAS NOT RETAINED ONLY FOR HIS FIELDING SKILLS. IF ITS IS TO THE SO CALLED JHONTY WHAT ABOUT OTHERS PARTICULARLY OUR GREAT FIELDSMEN. SO, PLEASE DO NOT PREACH AND SPREAD THE FIELDING THEOREY, WHICH IS ADVOCATED ONLY BY THE GREAT INDIAN COMMENTATORS AND SELECTORS AND TO AN EXTENT SOME REGIONAL LOYAL FANS.

IF ANYBODY WANTS TO FIND A PLACE IN THE TEAM, LET IT BE BECAUSE OF BOWLING OR BATTING PLUS FIELDING AND NOT ON THE BASIS OF FIELDING ALONE.

Exactly - an overpriced and overrated player... He got a good working over by Lee in the tests and seems to have forgotten that.
Make no mistake, I want him to succeed, but he must walk the talk... which he rarely does - remember he said before the Aus tour that the pace and the bounce of the wickets in Aus will suit him... Yeah right...
