First thing first; heartiest congratulations to the Young Team India for bringing glory to the Country. Dhoni and his boys have made all of us proud Indians like Kapil and his team did in 1983. We savour the victory not as Hindus or Muslims or Sikhs or Christians. Not even as Marathies or Punjabies or Bengalies or Gujaraties of Tamils;but as one and wholesome INDIANS! The Dhonies, the Bhajies, the Yuvies and the Irfans are all Indians first. They all have brought this glory to our Country.
A word for the Pak Team. They played great cricket throughout and that too in true spirit of the game. They lost, true. But, it was any body's game till India actually won! Just imagine, the ball that Mishab hit behind the keeper, which Srisanth gleefully accepted to end Pak inning, could as well have gone over the ropes!
Great feeling that the two sub-Continent Teams were in T 20 final to end the hegemoney of Australia. Have heart our Pak friends; your time shall come. Let's not envy each other! Remember, the whole Pak Team danced with Indian Team after 1983 WC final at Lords! That's the sub-continental spirit!
Now, a word for the Maverik MAHI! He is a fearless, thinking and innovative Captain in the mould of Kapil and Ganguly. He is destined to lead Team India for a long time and not chicken out like our ex-brainless Captain, Dravid!
Lat over, Pak needing 10 odd runs, Mahi turning to Joginder ignoring Bhaji's experience! Rahul would not have even imagined that!

it shows what pakis are. malik was thanking muslims all over the world for supporting pakistan.. disgusting... pathan brothers in the team played for india and not support pakis.. even imran khan said the same when he won the cup long back... the genes of pakis cannot be changed.. well done india team....

I stay in an area which has majority muslims and in this victory - the celebrations in each house was enormous as I personally witnessed. The new generation of muslims have put partition behind them and looks like most identify completely with India. Irfan Pathan finnaly buried Kabir Khan's ghost.

not every one things like you ......the topic was of CRICKET a GAME ...now the topic has come to religion that to only ISLAM .....this is common every where in india .......there is lots of HATRED and VENOM in hindus towards muslims ...... they always do this saying that muslims in past has looted them and killed them ......but we want to say that ....what do we do .....should we die for what the previous kings have done ....we say NO ...thats why we retaliate ...
i am sure that one day all HINDUS will make all MUSLIMS as terrorists ...and INDIA can be saved by a MIRACLE ....

Hey brother , I dont know why my statement was removed as abuse. I never meant to hurt anyone's sentiment, and infact what I wanted to convey was just the opposite. All i wanted to tell was that Muslims dont need to show their loyalty time and again as we all know their are as Indian as anyone else. It was NOT a sarcastic comment. I dont know how you took it in a different sense. And about writing on Muslims - it was just because I saw a comment here that because of comments like Malik's indian muslim are fprced to show their loyatly time and agains - which I think is foolishness. I hope you understand.
Shoaib's statement is regrettable indeed. Indian Muslims will be a very disturbed lot indeed as a lot goes into the effort every Muslim in India takes to prove otherwise at every juncture. What exactly Shoaib had in mind what he said needs clarifications. We are true Indians no matter what religion we subscribe to was aptly displayed by our team as well as the celebrations in India. Majority in Pakistan will also be very disturbed with his statement for sure. Indians need not and should not be too disturbed as defeat can make many a sound mind disturbed to the point of taking solace in unhealthy statements. It%u2019s a learning lesson to all of us.

There are two types of people everywhere. one is sensible people and another one is non sense. Hats off to sensible people whether he muslim or some else.
This world cup victory has shown, that we now have a complete team, good in batting, bowling and fielding. Also the team performs even if one player fails. India at last has got the right captain, it needed from past few years. Three cheers to India !!! and may we win every match under Dhoni's captaincy.

dont jump the gun dude.. 50-50 is just a different ball game all together.. different pitches; long 10 over spells from star bowlers--powerplays.. as much as i would love to see india win every game; i still think we need tendulkar at the top instead of Y Pathan/Sehwag..may be dravid somwhere as 7th batsman in the middle order..as long as they are playing well it is good time to rotate players and groom all these youngsters for 50-50 and Yuvraj, Sehwag, Gambhir for future test team..
