Powar controlls the dirty politics of Indian Cricket(should be called Maharashtrian Cricket). He puts, Vengsarker in control and then the Old Dumb Dinosaur, Borde comes in.Next they talk about Tendulkar to lead and finally we have the 3 stupid chamchas of his who will worship even the Sh.. of Tendulkar.The Chamchas are Gavasker, Shastry and Bhogle who seem to be commenting on Tendulkar's PRIVATE T.V channel.HAIL! At least Mumbai players are talented than any other states playing in domestic cricket.They r better than Devang Gandhi,Deepdas Gupta etc.. Goodluck mumbai cricket.And Goodluck Dhoni.
no wonder this pawar & company want to mumbai ranji team convert into indian team. these corrupted minds change everything what they want. well done dravid it's agood desicion on right time.

Please give opnion properly. Why to blame Maharshtrian? It seems that Dravid is not tough enough to handle the situation. If that would have been the case, why he was chossen as a Captain earlier? Look at the performance of Dravid at the recent times. He should blame himself, not to others. Those who can not cope up with the hard time, they are not capable of being Indian Captain. Please don,t be bias.

Rahul, you have taken a very wise and right decision. This politics is not from today, its working from so many years, If somebody will go, another Pawar will come. You just concentrate on your game. We know our Rahul. You have done gr8 job for India always. After losing 3 games in a row, u have given the team spirit to India to make it 3-3. Haar jeet to chalti rehti hai. Fight to karni chaiye. When Chairman of Selection has no say in who is to bat at what number, does the coach has a say. Against West Indies when Sachin wanted to open the innings, why did Dravid consult Chappel. Dravid definitely is not fit to be a Captain. He has become a Captain by default.

I strongly feel the resignation to his captaincy is an intelligent move by Dravid, but when we think for a while, people like "vengsarkar", under the holy sun what kind achievement he has made when he was a player, we have seen it all, selectors like him as we the Indians debate always, are a pain, and their very existence is bcoz of the political power (pavar) and not by thier game, other than Mumbaikar's no one deserves an encouragement from BCCI in this country (SAD - but true), so unfortunate,
I hope Dravid will keep his cool and continue to perform,

Guys, did you all notice one thing, rest of India blaming Maharashtra, aren't those people acting same as BCCI mumbai lobby which they blame for supporting their won state, people out here are doing same supporting their own state. I have never seen any other state guy supporting some other state's player...
BCCI is always for bombay and bombay people because of this reason only ICL is started. Kapil Knows Very well So rest of india should go behind ICL And try to lift ICL In future
I think Dravid has resigned because he did not get the kind of support he would have liked to from either the Board or from some of the team players.I doubt the integrity of Yuvraj,Ganguly and Tendulkar in that order, apart from few others.The commitment to the Captain by some players and the selectors is lacking.I dont think it will improve even when Dhoni takes over.In India there are plenty of advisors/Critics on every issue be it political/religion/defence /external affairs and ofcourse sports and our media is only intersted in negative reporting which only adds spice for public consumption.This is the way we Indians are and will continue to be.It is better to be rely on the philosophy of fatalism.The best way out would have been to have given enough confidence to the leadership of Dravid and requested him to continue, but the poers that be have better things in their interest and definitely not the country's interest.They must have been waiting for this oppurtunity. I only pray and hope that Dhoni id unaffected by all these dirty things.
