Shastri should be definitely rested. He is talking too much and nonsense. Its good time to get in commentators who have a little sense and talk sense. Get rid of seniors like Shastri who are inflicted by politics.

Well said.. Shatri shud be on pension.. Why dont Shastri think what he was, before commenting on others.. if he is not from Mumbai, he wud have been out of sceen by now.. does any one remember any of his good innings..
ravi sahstri is like the commies--lot of power without accountability--come come shastri--how about some rest for tendulkar-as regards fitness and discipline you are the last person who should talk about both
with no proper reasons sourav is being supported by these people in west bengal... i find only a single reason for this one... he is a bengali....
When he is in power he really played kick boxing with sachin and kumble altering their postions and keeping kumble on the bench....
People say that he is a very good player of spin.... give me a single instance when he played shane warne with disdain...
its show time and show men like sourav attract attention... a strike rate of 73 for an opener .... is ok... but not that good to see say that he is aggressive... agression does not mena that we will remove shirts or we will shout at our will on fellow players or having ruffled with opposition players unnecessarily and getting fined... Agression should be in implementation.... Ganguly is branded agressive by his erronous behaviour .... All Prince's admirers shud look at all the above statements and once again rethink before you say that sourav is so and so...

but thtas the point--they all curse rahul dravid but inthe aussie one dayer when niranjan shah said he was dropped not a squeak was heard from these guys--why did they not blame dhoni,yuvraj, tendulkar?

very true - 11,000 runs with absolutely no technique, cant play pacers, spinners so what if opposition calls u names -just go to him with folded hands and say namaste when the andrew flintoffs wave their shirts, just admire their physique silently the ultimate aggression - backstab the very person who gives u your odi place when evryone is against u -now thats some awesome implementation
Let us stop worshipping players. They are also human beings. They are also bound to fail. They all deserve rest. Now what Rahul needs now is REST. V will definitely see the same yardstick being applied to Sachin and ganguly as well, bcos Vengsarkar has taken a controversial decision. So he is bound to be neutral in future. let us not be pessimistic always. Like how v want the players also to be given a longer rope, let us give selectors also a decent run. indiatimes story says that deepika was spotted with yuvraj in mumbai.they were spotted together for two days constant.now question is that dhoni loves deepika but deepika is liking yuvi.interesting.what will happen between dhoni and yuvraj?deepika will go to whom ?

Dear Ravi Shastri, when are you going to give rest for Sachin Tendulkar? Do not say that he is from Mumbai, hence there is no rest for him. Indian Cricket is infected by caste, language, region and state politics. We need people like Siddhu and Kapil to tell the truth boldly.

Good point. I guess the yard stick used to performance based selection and resting plan should be applied to everyone. Then India can perform like Australia.
Shastri, better know ODI and test are not 20-20 games, you need expr players in the team. To be what Shastri is, considering how good a player he was, you need a Godfather like Powar. He is more impressive when he comment on someone, than when he was playing. Shastri.. who took 29 ball to score single run from 99 to 100.. dont just talk..
Ravi Shastri has shown his true colours as a Mumbai gangman.If Vengsarkar had said the policy was to rotate seniors like Dravid,Tend and Ganguly there would be no problem.No.Instead Vengsarkar goes out of the way to insult Dravid only.And Tend has to be put on a pedestal.Ofcourse Dravid has to keep ready for the Aussie tour when he will have to pull the chestnuts out of the fire.Ridiculous how the Mumbai gang is playing this one.

dont talk rubbish, he is the same man who played a world cup game for the country 3 days after his faher's demise.this yr sachin has scored almost 1100 runs with a strike rate of 86,haow many indians have done it earlier and how many will do it in the future.and he has played against all top teams, the only weak team india played post WC i,e Bnagladesh and, sachin was not a part of that team.so dont bark..just for the sake of it.sachin tendulkar is 1000 times better than Dravid.where were u when dravid played dirty politics to throw saurav out of the team

Dravid averages 8.8in the last 10 odi's.
Infact Dravid and chappel advocated...the performence criteria....all the way....doesnt matter u r experienced or not....u can only stay if you perform.So now ..if they can apply this rule to Ganguly...why there is a problem...if they apply it to Dravid.
