In India We people consider cricketers as GOD.We begin to give more value and star-dome to a newcomer if he begins to give just a satisfactory result.There is a big line between A GREAT PLAYER AND JUST GOOD.SACHIN,GAVASKAR,PONTING,LARA,DRAVID or KUMBLE are just few names which are the tops.When people begin to call DHONI or anyother player ,a replacement of SACHIN or other,its not more than an over-expectation.DHONI has just started his career and everyone know that he is good only in sub-continent and against quality balling he becomes a looser one.Even his strike rate for which he has been famous for is no where there.His superb 183 is news of past.Compare him with some just good player player like SAYMONDS,YUVRAJ and Newcomer Like Utthappa or inconsistent GAMBHIR,he can't even them.InAustralia ,SAYMONDS or HADEN are just another player whose performence have been outstanding and consistent,are just like a normal crickter and only REAL GREATS like PONTING,MCGRATH or WARNE are given this much STAR-VALUE.ALL i mean is that let DHONI and others to proove themself in batting then BEGIN to call him NEW TENDULKAR.Even the OLD LIONS (SACHIN AND GANGULI)have achived 1000 runs in worst phase of their career.Where is DHONI.DOnt tell he is great because we won 20-20 WORLD CUP.It was a collective effort.Had not YUVRAJ GAMBHIR UTHAPPA played good cricket.Dhoni has to work hard to match even these fellows..

Point was so simple - DO NOT TAKE THE EMERGING PLAYERS TO SUCH A HEIGHT THAT THEY BECOME COMPLACENT..
And you do not need to play cricket, to talk about the things that you have been seeing.. No ones complaining abt Dhoni's talent.... No one is complaining abt his batting style or class or anything....!!
And most imp - no one here is sulking....!! We indians go overboard when we win just a tournament... we sit and enjoy... thats why when our team lost 4-2 against Aussies, we forgave them! we will do the same if we loose in Aus...
We easily forget things.. a pathetic WC exit, crowd running around breaking glasses and in 3 months they started building temples for these GODS he...he...

Even one Major Cup triumph is enough as every member of that squad made Blue dress and Indian Flag show up with Triumph.Whereas Sachin ocould not be a member even he was serving for 16 years from his age of 16.

These days cricketers get into the list of "legends" just because of a couple of knocks..!!
What has Dhoni achieved so far? he is really young and has a lot of prove... He was made the captain because no one was ready to take up captaincy... This "futuristic thought" that the selectors are claiming is bullshit.....!! They never had one, and will have none!
Nothing against Dhoni, but unnecessary attention can screw this lad!! Let the cricketers stay as just cricketers.....!!! thats Good for cricket in India!

hahahah tendulkar can score in any position..he has proved that time and again.He is not a one trick pony.Age,Agility,fitness issues are also catching up. Indian team lost because they collectively did not perform..tendulkar included. No point saying, tendulkar didnt open so India lost.
