I do not know about who would be the right Captain at this moment!. My imagination goes to my boyhood school days when our teachers and non teaching staff used to stage dramas. One was Ravindrnaths 'Viswarjan'. Shyamadasbabu was missing on the occasion. We later dicovered him on the stage playing the role of Aprna and he was so convincing. With adequate make up Kumble will automatically look like a good SAS and Dravid like a conspiring Bahu. If it can be tried!!
Yet again Tendulkar scores heavily and India loses. Wonder if someone has a statistic of Tendulkar scoring say over 75 and India losing as a percentage over him scoring less than say 25 and India winning...

This is completely inexplicable. Unless this can be defined as pure jeolasousy I dont know how to explain this. Tendulkar scored well. The team was sunk by bad middle order which is brittle as we all know and a stupendously idiotic bowling performance by Zaheer and Harbajan in particular. And now we have idiots talking about stats on how many times India wins if Tendulkar scores less than 25.
If you dont understand cricket and dont love your team or your country or for that matter your countrymen, STOP watching and following cricket.
Stop coming up with these half brained questions which seem to be reflected in this reviewer as well!
Zaheer goes for 70, Saurav goes for 55 and this moronic writer thinks that the problem was the 4 main bowler concept. The same moronic writer would have said that they team missed a trick by not including an additional bat on a fast and bouncy pitch like this if we did not score those runs and lost.

The result of the second ODI may set the tone of this series. India had a golden opportunity to completely destroy Pak's self confidence. They let this opportunity slip away because of wrong lineup (what was Sehwag doing in playing eleven, specially when he never bowled) and continuous under performance of Zaheer Khan. These indian players underperform, get kicked out of the team, come back in the team with some good performances in country/domestic cricket and after a while, when they feel safe, again start underperforming. Indian team has created some unnecessary questions fro themselves and at the same time they have helped Pak find answers to their problems. Expect a 4-1 or 3-2 result in favour of Pak. India will find it hard to contain Younis, Yousuf, Haq and Afridi. Good luck to Team India.

would kumble go for a woman named captainship who offered herself to SACHIN first because her father did not allow her to go with her exboyfriend --ganguly...and her current boyfriend Dravid ran away saying I cannot handle her !!! and when discarded by SACHIN she comes to kumble because she is not allowed to go to dhoni? ...and then would kumble call it a matter of great honour to get married to captainship? how can you have a leader of team india who thinks its a great honor for him to marry this captainship
some people lovingly call you a great servant of Indian cricket and I tell these people you cant make a servant the captain of one of the most prestegious nations in the world...although still pretty much very 3rd world but booming economy and stuff

Ganguly, bajji, zahir khan also failed but they are still in team dravid was sacked b'cuz of poor performance in 4 odis. selection committe has no proper policy for selection, always dif yardstick for players selection rp singh is proving he is worst than sresant and ganguly herbajan and zahir never help team vengi and co has not guts to touch super stars but honest selfless cricketer like dravid will be always victim of dirty politics rp singh has proved he is worst than shresant and munaf srisant and munaf has five wkt haul within a year of entering int;'l cricket but zahir kahn took 5 yrs of intl cricket to get five wkt haul. zhair / ganguy and bajji performs once in 4-5 matches it is simply politics. vengi and co are playing with odi career of dravid or even raina or M tivary or badrinath but no guts to remove ganguly or his chamachas ask the other batsmen ganguly tendulkar dhoni yuvi and gambir to bat at diff nos in five match then u see the difference. they should comedown in order when team was in trouble or up in order when less balls to face with increasing runrate that is what happened to dravid dirty politics to outstet dravid from odis.

i agree with you, if you see last tour of england you found agarkar has bowled very well, in one game he took 4 wickets in low scoring game but no other bowler has support him and in next game he gave some run and he out of the indian team, i observed it always happend with agarkar, in the tournament if he gave some run in one-two odi immediately he has been dropped but u see last 9 odi, all bowler except irfan has gave lot of lot of runs but no one has dropped and they are still in the team..
because of the stupidity of yuvraj singh we lost as he dropped two easy catches. otherweise, pak would have been under tremdndous pressure and india would have won the match.

Bad fieldng, captaincy and umpiring cost us the match.If spinners have to bowl,the batting first was bad decision as though Harbhajan could bowl well with newer ball he could not turn when dew set.

We lost not only because of the reasons you cited but also due to failure of capitalising on the excellent platform provided by Sachin and Gambhir. Yuvi, Dhoni, Sehwag and Uthappa together contributed a mere 80 odd runs. What more do you need than a score of 179 for 2 at 25 overs? We lost the match when we fail to capitalise on that.
