UNBELIEVABLE MAGIC BY BCC
by sajin mv on May 28, 2007 12:41 PM

It is ironically to watch Indian Bowlers are bowling like heroes and crushed the Minnows for an innings defeat in a tailor-made pitch which is heaven for batsmen.
BCCI top six officials are staying in Bangladesh? Any foul smell is there? No, may be it is my wrong notion that somebody is trying to catch back the mass audience of Indian cricket lovers to relive their hopes.

I really appreciate for the Indian players Specially Sachin has done two centuries in Bangla Tour because world cup his performance is zero but as they talk about individual milestone are great because indian players are selfish they always play with his own performance and records not for the team.

Sachin's Centuries
by Sanjeev Kumar on May 28, 2007 11:52 AM  | Hide replies

By looking at the Sachin's emotions against B'Desh it gave the impression that he has achieved something great. By looking at his expressions I thought that he had broken the Lara's record of 400 runs but alas it was a poor century against poor bowling where every batsman including Jafer, Karthik, Dada, Dravid have hit century.
The saddest part of the game is that the man who has won many crucial matches for India inluding the last one against SA in SA was not picked to make century.

Every one struggles to beat death whenever it gets close, you see? Even if you have had a long satisfying life, a dying man will still put up a big struggle to stay alive. Some do survive, many do not.

After the World cup, Sachin came closer to death than never before, so far as his cricketing life is concerned. These 2 hundreds are like oxygen for him to survive some more!

His elation at getting hundreds was more of a relief for having beaten death rather than celebration of an achievement.

Its so sick to see sachin scoring centuries against smaller teams like bangaldesh. The very next day if he happens to play against a team like south africa or australia he again will get out for a duck. I think people should judge the performance of a player based on the kind of opposition he is playing against.

Sachin - the king against minnows in Tests
by siva kumar on May 28, 2007 11:49 AM  | Hide replies

Before the test matches began, every one knew that sachin is going to hit two centuries for his personal records for the two test matches. Our faith in sachin worked well. Congrats sachin. But try to hit the same against Australia, SouthAfrica, England, Newzeland, Srilanka and Pakistan. Sachin will be there in the team for the next two years for his two hundreds. thanks to the selection committee.

If you dont have cricketing knowledge just keep quiet rather than talk some nonsense and show how dumb you are. Dont write something just for the sake of it. Just look at the facts. After coming back for a 6 month injury, Sachin scored a hundred (35th) against SL which had Murali, Malinga and Vaas. In SA he scored 2 fifties (small by his high standards) but show me other players who scored more than him (Ganguly excepted). Perhaps you are jealous because you have not even achieved 0.5% of what Sachin did.

Dont say that he the 35th century was scored on a bowling track. He enjoys playing on the flat tracks where there is no assistance whatsoever to the bowlers.

FANTASTIC !!! GREAT SHOW !!! A SUPERB ACHIEVEMENT
by baranikumar mahadevan on May 28, 2007 11:40 AM  | Hide replies

This is a national issue. With one billion population leaving other issues and talking , thinking, eating, and drinking cricket we MUST celebrate. It will not be often when we get a chance like this.

In fact some of us may have forgotten what an Indian victory is.

This also ensures that Sachin, Saurav, Sehwag and Zaheer continue in the team for the next 10 to 20 matches - no matter how badly they perform in the future matches. At least they get the match fees and more importantly the endorsement money from companies which runs into hundreds of crores. Of course once they fail in the next 10 matches there is a chance to make up again because by that time we would have a schedule against Zimbabwe or Kenya coming up at that time !!

I think the Indian cricketers have a great ability to stretch their careers.
