Shakil Kaseem whooo??
by krishnakanth reddy on May 16, 2007 10:49 PM

I dont know who this guy is, he has not even plyed for bangladesh team and he thinks hes doing some great thing by criticizing the Indian team. I know India is going through a bad phase now but that doesnt mean he can speak what ever he wants to. If rain wouldnt have intervened, India would have thrashed the bangaldesh 3-0 and I have no doubt about the test series too that India's gonna win 2-0 comfortably.

There is no reason why we should take this guy seriously. He's not played cricket , even for Bangladesh.

Thier shameful showing in WC is only further proof of what everyone the world over has known for a long time - India sucks! And no amount of preening, chest-thumping and empty boasting will make them better. The Ozzies, on the other hand, can, because they win, consistently.
Besides, such remarks, though not meant to offend, are clearly insensitive and not called for, especially in the game of cricket - it's just not cricket!

Moron!!

This guy has a problem with Ravi Shastri's comments. He should keep his counter attacking to only Shastri. Who the heck is he to attack the country's history as a whole? Does Bangladesh even have a history?

Even though India has been performing badly in recent times, they are a world class team. Bangladesh won on their day against India and we saw that India's second strung team was enough to put Bangladesh in its place and win 2-0 (even though india still had the scars of the WC defeat).

Go and hide urself soon Shakil. The thrashing that Bangladesh is going to receive in the upcoming test series, you will feel humiliated. I want that to happen to yoU!

Bangladeshis-Keep Your Mouth Shut
by Ashish Kumar on May 16, 2007 09:47 PM

I would like to tell this gentleman that despite the fact that India played poorly at the WC it doesnot signify that INDIA is a bad team.Every team has to face a bad run (take the example of French Football Team which won the WC-98 but lost out in the first round in WC-02 but again made it to the finals in WC-06.On the other hand the team which defeated them in WC-02 Senegal are still Minnows).Similar is the case with Bangladesh, although they did beat India,SA,and even Aussies on a day.But that doesnot rank them to be a better team than any of them. Thus Bangladeshis need to keep there MOUTH SHUT and concentrate on improving their game rather than commenting on the Stallwarts of the game otherwise we will stop calling them even to play with our Ranji Teams.

What ever may be the result in the just concluded World Cup,Bangladesh must understand that they CANNOT beat India in the next 9 games out of ten games. No one knows what will happen in the 10th.Bangladesh has done well in the WC but they have to tread a long path to be a match.

Call a Spade a Spade - India team sucks, i am surprised they think winning against a team like bangladesh is something to crow & glorify about.

Yeah try - Australia, SA, Sri Lanka, England.....then we know our true worth........everything else is trash

yes but unless you play how can you find out worth ??

2 matches loss in WC does not prove anything.
and for your info this is the record of our team

Sri Lanka - defeated them twice by big margin in ODIs
England - Defeated thm last we played with them(series) and drawn series in England. (tests)
SA - We drawn this series but we won our first test there ..(tests)
Aussies - We gave them fight last 2 series (in India and Australia as well) (Tests)

well allow me to tell you that apart from Australia, there isn't a single nation that has dominated us in cricket yet! so, Leon, i believe that other teams "suck" more, don't they?
You have to admit it...
