Dear Mr.Borde, I dont think you are the only one who doesnt know what is expected from yourself. I am sure that entire BCCI is also not aware of what they expect out of you!

entire control is with marathi .they dont think wat they r doing .i think person like vishwanath should have been made interim coach for a tour like england.

i think the headline is very misleading and libellious. I think the Rediff editorial team has to be hauled up. In any other country, they'd by now be in the docks or settling out of court.
sharad pawar thinks indian cricket is his father*s property and is muddling unnecessarily into indian cricket sending grandfather borde is a useless choice borde has never played one day cricket if bcci is so keen on sending eldest man with the cricketers let the cricketers go with their grandfather instead of their wives
SPANK THE PLAYERS IF THEY ARE NOT PERFORMING. KICK THEIR ASS IF THEY DROP A CATCH IN PRACTICE SESSION AND AFTER THE MATCH IN THE DRESSING ROOM.
WE GUYS ARE BORN EMOTIONAL AND SENTIMENTAL GUYS, SO TRY GET RID OF THE FEELING FROM THEM AND ASK THEM NOT TO THINK THEY ARE GREAT WITH THEIR PAST RECORDS.
ADD MOTIVATION LESS HEAD WEIGHT MULTIPLY UNITY DIVIDE THE RESPONSIBILTIES
After all these we will be the only team in the universe to loose a match. Anyways try all u r Luck.

They shud have dropped Sehwag, harbhajan before WC itself. Never mind atleast they have done it now. Sachin, Dada were always going to be selected...no doubts...they are still the best and bcoz rubbish people like Karthik cant replace them. Karthik wont get a chance to play in Eng...ha ha ha

why do you say karthik is rubbish? he is not a opener and he is opening well. Far more better than gambhir and Jaffer. why not pull them for your comments instead of karthik?
That is because u fear that karthik will some day be rated high is it or some other fear?

What the bullshit are you telling??? Karthik is a very responsible player than Yours Sou and sac.... He is the future of indian cricket not sou and sac. Try to adapt to new things dont think like a old....

bullshit poornesh. kartik more responsible than sachin who has played 17 yrs of cricket???? don't talk nonsense okay.

abhey lalloo, what has kartik done wrong to be made fun of by idiots like u? he has scored in south africa and he has scored in odis on a couple of occasions saving the team when top order has collapsed.

these are bunch of jokers who dont know what is needed for cricket. Even that is ok. they dont even know to watch cricket and pull out a guy who is under performing. they are talking about a cricketer who is shining. he may not be the greatest but he is definitely not the worst as some are depicting

what the hell is wrong with u duffers? why bring karthick into it? obviously he's not in the same league as dada and sachin, but he's a youngster who's performed and looks a good prospect with a level head. What do u get out of deriding him? grow up guys!
it is good to see sehwag, bhajji and munaf is out.there is problem with fitnees of munaf. but i think they should try with badrinath as batsman and 2-3 allrounders. india has problem that it has not good allrounders. selectors must found it. in 83 we win world cup because we have 5-6 specalist allrounder.

They have done a good job by dropping sehwag as he has been given lot of chances.I feel karthik is emerging as a good player in both tests & one dayers. He gave a good start in both the tests. He can be a handy batsman at No.5 in one dayers.but the question is whether gautham/Robin will open the batting in one dayers with sourav?I feel the playing eleven should be Sachin & Saurav as openers,Rahul,Yuvraj,Karthik,Dhoni,1 All-Rounder,4 Bowlers.but we are lacking all rounder at this pt of time.Pathan was delivering with the bat but not with the ball.I think its high time that BCCI thinks abt all rounder at No.7 position.

as you know, karthik cannot do big power shots like yuvi or dhoni, do depending on situation we can send karthik higher than yuvi.
RE:Good job by selectors...
by Saurav on Jun 14, 2007 10:25 AM
Karthik cant achieve even 10% of what Dada has...Ur Karthik is a shame on batting and cannot smash the bowlers like Dada does....Karthik sucks...Dada Rocks...

dada joined which band group that he rocks?? i thought he is another non performing player.
RE:Good job by selectors...
by Karthikeyan Ranganathan on Jun 14, 2007 05:43 PM
yes he has joined the band called 12th Man. he is taking crash courses on how to take bottles to the ground. Ha ha Ganguly rocks, yes he does. go watch him play all day long...
RE:Good job by selectors...
by Saurav on Jun 14, 2007 10:35 AM
Karthik has proved that he is weak and cannot bat and doesnt deserve a place in the team
We really want a 11 such young and dynamic player who will just go there and play the game..they shud love hitting ball, shuould love taking wickets..shud love diving around..These should be criteria..They should be free to experiment new ideas..but what are we seeing now is the lust for money ,fame etc...These set of cricketers like yuvi,dhoni,sachin..the list goes on has been all been spoiled by corparates..There should be some restriction on them..
RE:Young set of player with fire and passion..
by Saurav on Jun 14, 2007 10:02 AM
What a joke. Youngsters will be beaten badly...No one can match Sachin, Dada, Dravid.
