Dear it seems u havenot updated your brain with the new rules of cricket. As per the new rules if a batsman offers pad first with bat behind in and around off stump then he will be declared out. It doesnot matter even if the hokeye shows the ball just leaving the off stump.

There is nothing to be happy about getting tendulakr's wkt. Now a days even a bangladesh bowler can get his wkt n number of times at a very low score. He is a spent force simply hanging around for more and more crores.

If Sachin is such a "spent force" against even Bangladesh, how come he just got 2 100's off them 2 months back?

How come he was PLAYER of the Series in last month's series against S Africa?

I am sorry to confront you with FACTS?

it is those odd great innnings and staying power at odd times that takes your team forward and proves your mettle, rather than such quantities you have mentioned....tendulkar these years does not do that at all.

Tendulkar is clearly not what he used to be. However that does not seem to be stopping him out-performing his team-mates for the last year.

Why specify religion ?
by Sandeep Nibber on Jul 25, 2007 10:05 PM  | Hide replies

"But the -Sikh- bowler did not have to wait that long to bag the master bastman's scalp again" When some hindu, muslim or christian bowler bowls out any batsmen, his religion doesnt become adjective. Why in this case with Monty Panesar ? No matter what Indians achieve in science and technology, the attitude of alienating oneself on caste and religious lines will never cease to exist. And that might bring another decline of this erstwhile Golden sparrow country.

Sandeep.
Dont be stupid. It is just a figure of speech. There is no issue of religion or caste. the only one to make an issue is YOU. Just take a chill pill and eat some Dahi Vadas.

KAPIL BIG MOUTH

Kapil averages 18.40 in fourth innings in test matches. No wins even no big scores.

The only fifty in fourth innings comes against Sri Lanka in 1985, 2nd Test at P.Saravanamuttu Stadium, Colombo
Result: Sri Lanka won by 149 runs
Sri Lanka leads the 3-Test series 1-0

Kapil made 6 in first innings and 78 in second innings.

look at what he is talking.

Dude, Kapil wasnt a batsman, he was a bowling allrounder. Shows how much you know cricket, check out his bowling stats in 4th innings, you'll know how great a player he was.
It was his spell of 5/28 in Melbourne in the 4th innings against Australia because of which we have one of our rare victories in Australia, there are countless such situations where he won the match in critical situations

Yeah buddy it was his match but man of the match was Vishvanath. I have respect for Kapil. But this comment of his was without knowing facts.

May be ICL adventure made him talk like that.

Haha

Panesar recalled a drive Tendulkar played off him, saying, "Most batsmen would have defended the ball, but he just put it away. There was also a back-foot drive which was fantastic.

"Even though I am playing against him, I still think 'wow' when he does something like that."

For a cricket lover its a pleasure to watch him. Too bad many new fans arent really cricket lovers.

Monty should thank Steve Bucknor for this wicket. He wasnt "plumb" as this article would like to you believe.Far from it he had his bat right behind his leg. There was no way that ball was going to hit the wicket.

im not sure abt bucknor being a racist umpire..but im sure that tendulkar was clearly out...kaalicharan was wrong wen he said tat u can b given out not playin a shot even wen the ball's not hitting the stump..but intead u can b given out not offering a shot even wen the ball doesnt hit u in line with the stumps..so that was simply a gonner fr tendulkar..!

Anyway tendulkar was out. If you dont offer a shot & try to play with pad instead of bat then you can be given out even when ball will miss stump!!!!. So tend better play the ball with bat.

I don't think he is a racist but he is dementing and no more a good umpire.I don't see any reason why he is still in elite panel after repeating the same mistakes now & again of wrong decision.
