It is very easy to sit on your sofa(thats what few people do out of the billion strong Indian population) and pass remarks on a Batsmen whom the even the best bowlers of the cricket playing nations look upto. Even if your entire clan takes a rebirth into generations but can never come closer to Rahul Dravid or a Dhoni;forget about Sachin. If still you have the guts to speak-please just once, stand infort of a Brett Lee or Shoib Akhtars' delivery. You will see your entire life in front of your eyelids and the effect will be up your backside. I just pray for the people who stay near you.Surely you need a psychoanalysis oe rehabilitaion. There are thousands of cricket players at the district, state & national levels but only few can hold the International level and that too for so many years.SO regard each one of them or else try my method to realise what these cricketers do.

sachin tendulkar

Now a days he has been critisized for his game and lot of even non cricket playing critics are pointing mistakes/faults in sachin's game. Why, I
think they are just jealous of him because he has earned lot of money through playing excellent cricket. The critics has no right to say anything if they have not done anything for the country. It is easy to pinpoint someone who has served the country for more than 15 years. He is not only a good cricketer but a gentleman too with no excuses. He never create problems for selectors nor any player. He never says I have done this , that. He never says I was given out wrong or pitch was not good. I read an article in which one of the great allrounder Mohinder Amarnath says his attitude at Ground shows he is blaming pitch, umpire for his dismissal. Sorry Mr Amarnath, I have great regard for you too for playing excellent cricket
but comments like this are not expected from you.
Few months ago commentrator and player Mr Manjrekar has also commented on Tendulkars approach eventhough he is also from team Bombay
andplayed together for years. How and why he left playing cricket nobody has asked.
Sachin is great andwill remain great till he retires from the game. I wish him to continue play till he is fit to play. He must keep the
example of WG Grace, CK Naydu who played cricket up to age of 45 years.
Bravo Sachin, Wish u every success in career.
Regds
Anand

BASUDEB BISWAS
sachin is the best
by BASUDEB BISWAS on Jan 28, 2007 11:45 PM

I would like to ask those who said sachin should leave out the team that have there been any other alternative of sachin. From the 'HERO CUP" to the 2003-world cup sachin have performed in both bat & ball.Remember, he was given the Man of the series award in ICC_2003 in which India made their way to final after 83. In 2002 ICC declared Sachin as the second-best batsman of all time both in ODI and Test cricket.Persons who do not observe cricket scientifically can make such comments against sachin. There is no alternative of sachin till now.He is performing well now and will certainly perform well in the future.

agreed Sachin Haters
by sandeep balagopalan on Jan 27, 2007 04:10 PM

I think I will just agree with all those who are blaming sachin for all the loss...That simply proves how good a player he is and how the whole team is depended on his performance alone.

sachin is great
by arvind sharma on Jan 27, 2007 01:50 PM

nowdays everybody is against sachin but i am sure when this Sachin was playing remarkable innings then you were among those people who were saying he is the best batsman in the world. and now when he is in bad form, you r saying he is not best batsman in the world. how can you say that. As for as his ducks concerned fisrt look at his innings, he played 376 innings so far and got out on ducks only 17 times.
Sachin has given almost 16-17 years of his life to Cricket and he is remarkable throughout his career. i am not denying that his performance is not good these days but see how many injuries he got. he had tenis albow, ankle injury, back pain. his injuries could be the cause of his bad performance.

sachin the best we still have----------
by on Jan 27, 2007 12:33 PM

there has been lot of talk abt sachins performance.but i still cant see why he should be left out or he must retire,
1.he may not have played a match winning role but has always played a big supportive role with his batting or bowling.
2.we need 5 good batsmen and if u can find five better batsmen than Mr.sachin tendulkar plz talk abt his removal or else just shut up.....
we indians shout at everything...but be practical...if u say sachin is not performing and he should not be in the team... what abt sania mirza / anju bobby george they are not winning can they be replaced???? no is the immediate answer bcoz they are the best we have and others are not half as good as them. similarly sachin is among the top 5 batsmen in the indian team on any given day.so plz stop all this talk abt droping him and start thinking practically.who shall replace sachin????r.uthappa, gambhir, raina or even sehwag or superstar dhoni is not even as good or half as consistent as sachin.so pray that sachin plays well as long as possible and wins matches for india

About Sachin form
by chaitanya prabhu on Jan 22, 2007 06:14 PM

I have read the above message by the people who have said that the sachin is not in a good form know a days becase this is not the question of form this the question of how the team is saporting between the players the seniors players like sachin, dravid, ganguly, are playing at their conditions they are trying to defend because and try to defend the team to lose the matches, by this the senior players are lossing their forms the reason behind this is the form of the all the players in indian team for example Sewag, kief, yuvaraj, dhoni, suresh reina, their are not in the form now a days their are losing confedence in their play if you compare with south africa and austrila team the last batsmen aslo scores around 40 to 50 runs in the match if the top order fails and the hole team plays for the winning the match but in india the top order fails or bolwers fails i have observed that the team sprit will sink and they wont fight till the end of the match and they will lose the match why this is happening in indian team and the cricket fans are blaming the senior player?and this is not the way to blame the senior players that shows the small nature of the fans in our india that is why the india is back in all the activites and this is because of politics in every where in india. SO I REQUEST THE INDIA CETIZEN TO SUPPORT THE TEAM WITH ALL YOUR WISHS THE HEARTFUL SUPPORT TO ENY BODY THAT PERSON WILL REALY WIN THE RACE IN HIS LIFE PLEASE I REQUEST TO STOP THE FIREING AGANIST SOME ONE AND TRY TO HELP HIM TO OVER COME HIS FAULTS AND MAKE HIM A NUMBER ONE CITIZEN OF INDIA AND LET THE INDIA BECOME THE NUMBER ONE COUNTRY IN THE WORLD PLEASE PLEASE KILL THIS POLITICS IN YOUR HEARTS AND BEE KIND AND HELP THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE SKILL IN THEIR HEARTS WHICH THEY DONT KNOW

Sachin Tendulkar
by Rakesh Mohan on Jan 19, 2007 04:39 PM  | Hide replies

I was reading an article at ESPN site on cricket regarding Indian Cricket. In the end I could guess that the present selector has again started Zone culture by making Sachin Vice captain to keep Saurav at bay. Whatever the reasons being given for performance of Sachin, be it age, injury lack of motivation are these justifiable for selection, NO. And Indian Cricket Selectors make him Vice Captain.

The author has als ointed out the ages of Sanath Jayasurya, Inzmam etc and I would like to add the age factor of kallis, Ponting, Hayden
and who else but Adam Gilchrist.

The matter of fact is that by playing too much Tendulkar has burnt himself out. But being a super star no one can touch him. I will not be surrised i in india Cricket..... he selects ( read influences the selection process) the selectrs ... who select Indian Team.

SA Tour Report
by Rakesh Mohan on Jan 17, 2007 03:55 AM  | Hide replies

The report is comprehensive and sums up well. Some positives were there like India won first time in SA and players deserve a pat. CONGRATS.

However, it would be wrong to paint every one with same brush. Seniors have not only let the Team down, but they failed even to motivate juniors. Having followed the Junior players, the future looks good. But all has been undone by filling the old hands into world cup. A bowler if he can not take the wickets, but is able to kill the morale of opposition by solid hitting, is dropped for injured player, as these seniors were doubtful that his batting would make their presence embarrasing. OKAY, he failed in bowling, but catches were dropped and these batsmen failed, why they never applied the same yardstick to themselves. When SA were weak, Dravid always did surprise bowling changs like introducing Ganguly. Bowers did take wickets but poor fielding and poor running, coupled with surprise batting to Paul Harris...... Man ... don't be surprised if you do not see many of them after World Cup.

I feel though the present team may not have won the series in SA. But how many teams earlier have won a test match? We can't even recollect. Most of the so called experts who liberally make comments on the current team, never won a test match outside sub continent. i feel we should congratulate team for doing that and pat them and encourage them to get better in future.
