Dravid does not have killer instinct like Ponting, Smith, Lara, Sachin or Ganguly. Just because of that he should step down or be removed from Captaincy. Dravid's unsuccessful rate of wining is 80%.

Look at Paul Collingwood''s innings.. When Ganguly was the captain Dravid has won many matches for India. never used to throw his wicket away. It was a lazy irresponsible shot form ganguly Many times Dravid hitting the winning run & take responsibility on his shoulders. What is the use of too many big names in the team if they cant finish off the match Dhoni is No3 in ICC ranking he could not finish it. Karthick was mom in 20-20 game in SA He is talented young player and very good fielder. Dravid is right that karthick wkt was turning point. Kathick won 20-20 game in SA. He is telanted but failed yesterday Under dravid's captiancy team won odis and test without tendulkar and ganguly About the dravid's stay in wkt, it would have been made things change. Each time he fail to perform team had defeat. Also check the statistics of last six years find out who contributed more to team's victory sacnin, dravid or ganguly. And ganguly was successful captain not b'cuz his leadership quality or agression but of contrbuiton of dravid, sachin laxman and kumble. He was non performing captain almost 3 years of his captiancy. Ganguly's ODI record as a captain: 147 matches, 76 wins, 66 losses
this is so sad or maybe shame that we cant support our own team and are lookin for negetive stuff abt the team. the time where the team need our support and love we r showing our hatred and pointing out one player dravid. give me a break. indian supporters r fake. if india won that match all u guys would be sayin it was a perfect team and now they lost by 5 runs ooh LETS MAKE IT AN ISSUE. Wow.. you've to be kidding. Please Google "Golliwog" before using it in print or speech. It is terribly derisive and I'm surprised that an Indian has used it in this article. The term "wog" is derisively used in UK,Australia and European countries to describe any dark, brown skinned person. It is terribly offensive and as bad as the word "nigger".
YOu should apologize to your readers and in particular the talented young man from Sri Lanka.
I realize that you will probably come back with some sort of lame excuse, as in you did not mean it, it's positive etc. But you need to realize that some words in English change over time and "Golliwog" is one of them. It is no longer cool to use that word. As a journalist it's your responsiblity to ensure that you do not include potentially racist terms.

Why do we get so upset with terms people use in the west,cant we use something called self confidence calling some one a wog does not make you a golliwog ,grow up guys times have changed ,its a free world ,if we get affected by words there is no tomorrow ,the world has bigger issues to deal with.
Is it the first time that India has lost in such a situation? It has happened in the past and will keep happening in the future. Lets not allow this to let our BP go up.
Choking is a long time illness of the Indian team. We will continue to lose matches in a similar way in the future, regardless of who the captain/ coach/ manager is.
Hey Junta, SO much anger is uncalled for.Specially against the tendulkars and gangulis and dravids.
What i want to say is that this is just the testing phase to try different combinations before the world cup.
Yes the loss was snatching defeat from victory, but i think ganguli and tendulkar laid a solid platform which could not be capitalised by the batsmen who came.
GIve them support and not criticism, when they are down. Support will just encourage them and do wonders.
plz thrown kumble, In that place must one fast bowler included like balaji, you he is the good swing bowler and also the hard hitter. dhoni and dravid to change their batting position, dhoni number 3, and dravid number 6, one Spin bowler is enough in the time, now sachin is good in the spin bowling , so harbajan only enough,And one more thing, To give chances to veeru, he is the most helpful to the world cup if he is in form, he is also the off spin bowler.The committe to get balajji to replace kumble.

it's all time, there are number of occassions in the recent past, where Kumble had made more runs than some our leading batsmen then suddenly you go and drop him for almost a year and bring him back, today was not his day period, 1) number of his rightful appeals were not accepted by umpire 2) this pitch you do not require 2 spinners 3) 8 wickets were taken by SL pace bowlers 4) WCI is different ball gameKumble has time & again bowled India for wins in both Test & ODI, especially his record in WI is the best among current bowlers, if you want to have any chances of the cup then don't even fancy such wild ideas of dropping our main trump card. Pls for heavensake do not expect Kumble to contribute each & every time, also umpire shastri turned down number of rightful appeals made by him. this pitch does not aid spin bowling period, 8 wickets were taken by SL fast bowlers and only 1 by spinner. team mgt made mistake of chossing 2 spinners for a pitch that does not offer anny assistance to spin bowlers.

What I was trying to say is Srilanka will suffer when he retires.Murali is a genious on all counts.
Indian slector should take some more hard decision for the world cup. Like a batsmen who perform poor in Two match. The Slectors drop him in next match and give chance to new batsman & do'nt see stardum of batsman like Virendra Sehwag bye
