There after also he never batted as confidently as people are made to believe by media and Dada supporters. He got one century and then a double but after how many innings? No other cricketer in the world has had so many chances.. Even Dravid's poor form is due to the indifference shown by people who matter. Laxman has the maximum average even in the concluded series. His name is never mentioned

You are saying baseless thinks. Tough I like Dravid but remember his batting failures in onedays when he never deserved a place but Dada always kept him and supported him. Even he inducted Dravid as wicketkeeper batsmen. Good deeds of people cann't be ingored. And if you have any doubt on Dada, check records. Fastest 5000, 6000, 7000, 8000, 9000 (faster then Sachin), India's highest sixes hitter & world's no. three. Only Indian to have 10000 runs and 100 wickets. Dada is super, incredible and fantastic.....Now you will say that I am Bengali....No i am not...I am an Indian who support Dada

Did you watch the match? or just read commentary from somewhere? His confident strokes were the only reason we won the first test. tendulkar was just struggling out there where Ganguly came in and calmly played strokes to reduce the pressure. you do not know any cricket if you continue in this vein!!!

if such 11000 and 15000 runs or 550 wickets can deserve awards then why nt 10000 runs with 100 wickets. its dirty politics in cricket. why should dravid get award, look his performance in the season and compare with that of ganguly. when u don't hav stats wid u never talk like that, u idiot. and u r forgetting that it is nt ganguly bt dravid and sahwag who got lot more chances to perform than dada in India, don't make such comments and what do u know abt world cricket? u r saying dada made jst one and then double century, it s in the last series....did u forgot what he made in one dayers and previous series in this year itself,,,u people should be shoot openly in the midst of public and then should be served to dogs.......diry minds.

shut up saha, you bongs are so predictable. A hole, your dada has scored a century & double century after a very long time. The shine is taken off when you consider the opposition bowling which was easily the worst to have ever toured India. Dravid has a superb record overall in Test's with an average of 58 & most of these runs & centuries being scored on foreign soil & not on featherbed tracks of India. Let your Dada perform in Australia agains Lee & co & then lets talk.
No other cricketer in the world has been given so many chances as Ganguly just because the congress needs the support of CPM from WB, others have to live in WB, Parliament will be in chaos and Media being captured by the same people due courtesy their own men in the respective ministries . Any Ranji cricketer would have done the same given a chance against the present Pakistan team. What a shame? Laxman has the maximum average in the current series concluded but nobody mantions his name. Even Sir C.V.Raman had not been spared by these people as he was a man of sincerity and integrity.The same people who offered a dull pitch for Ganguly to score his century after 4 years had given a wet pitch for Dravid against the SA%u2019s . Even the SA%u2019s were surprised to get the support from Eden croud and for what? This is for dropping Ganguly after he recorded an average of 17 in 40 ODI%u2019s. Some good cricketers have been felicitated. Let's rejoice that. Some others have not YET been felicitated. That will happen next year or perhaps the year after. Why does it matter so much? They are all INDIANS. They are all good. Move on...there are more important things to take care of.

Ganguly has scored much more runs in one day cricket than Dravid. Then why he is left out in giving trophy when other three senior players are respected. BCCI should not be so blatantly biased.
Its very suprising....can anybody forget those 6 sixers....its very unfair. Even after 20-20 they just cant see that how Yuvi mastered..he is the new master blaster..yaar..very pity
sharat pawar is not fit for the BCCI president post as well as minister of agriculture.... he spoiled both indian cricket & agriculture... he's fit only for the parochial maratha association in maharastra....
1. 10000 runs and 100 wickets...a very good record indeed.
2. He has an example of mental toughness...he has shown how to come back when alomost everyone forgot him...when coach of the team is against him...when his captain didnot support him...when chairman of selector is against him....you cannot deny this...also he is very popular among his mates....

2007 will be history for Dada very soon as Lee & Co will have hime hop & jump in Australia, it will be a sight to behold with Ganguly squirmming his eyes each time after being hit by a Lee bouncer.
Its shame that dirty politics of the Power regime does not have the courtesy to honor the only player from India and 3rd in the World, to secure 10000 runs and 100 wickets in ODI?

Tendulkar is the 1st player in the world to score 10,000 runs and take 100 wickets in DOI cricket. He did that long ago.
Although I expected Ganguli in the lot, his omission is understandable; it indicates that a powerful MORE-CHAPPEL-DRAVID lobby is still active to destroy someones career. Guys dont blame your southern friends for every reason of your exasperations. Among southies, kannadigas are always no-match as they create problems to all others who are not kannadigas. In terms of supplying crooks throughout the country I think UP-Bihar-Punjab-Hariyana is uncomparable. Dont talk about our patriotism. Till date there is no anti India movement like the Sikh one, from any southern states.

kannadigans are very regional in mind and they are very zealous about others success...they have been creating a lot of troubles for Tamilians in Bangalore.....Among all Indian communities, I will never believe a kanadiga----they are no match...they are very unique in their regional bias.
