All the best gary. But you are not fit for this job. Kepler Wessels deserves the position better than you as he has played both for australia and south africa. Both being aggressive players, kepler would have been a better choice.
Also BCCI thinks only foreign coaches are good. Does that mean Indians are not good administrators like BCCI is managed.
Common guys wake up and be bold. A coach need not be a successful player, he has to be a good man manager and strategist.

How successful was John Wright, as a player? He was pretty good Caoch even though he was an average player. Its the same with Tom Moody and Dave Whatmore.Average Players but good coaches.

why srisanth?majority of the players r cowards.only dhoni and srisanth has some aggression.see the aussies.they r winning games bcos of their adventurous approach.i dont think kristen can do anything to Indian cricket.bcos politicians r controlling cricket in India.

If the BCCI insists on a foreign coach, why were none of the applicants (who wanted the job) at least interviewed ? After all Richard Done, Tim Boon, Kepler Wessels, Terry Oliver, Dave Nosworthy and Martin Crowe are no push overs ! Only time will tell whether it was right to go with a begging bowl to someone who had not even applied/responded, and nothing against Gary Kirsten but does not the whole episode sound fishy ?
Sachin sacked from BCCCi and ICC punished not to play cricket for another 4 years...Tendulakr is planning to begg every mumbai street....we from south r ready to give him idly sambar and vada free of cost.......u guys has to accept sachin fans started barking at bcci and icc
