Poor Kirsten
by Kamal on Dec 04, 2007 10:38 PM  | Hide replies

He will be crushed between BCCI, Selectors and Senior Players. Here, everything works independently without much of co-ordination. Poor Kirsten. Pray god to save him.

Kirsten is a smart cookie
by Om Shanti Om on Dec 04, 2007 10:37 PM  | Hide replies

he purposely delayed his joining to Mar 1...coz he knows that Indians will face chin music in Aus..if he really had guts he would have joined the team during Aus tour rather than being a consultant...if indian team does well he would take credit as a consultant and say his ideas worked well...if indian team fails he would put the blame on lalchand rajput saying he was not yet fully part of the indian team...BCCI should have tested his mettle by forcing him to join the team fully before aus tour...but BCCI being the crap BCCI would buckle down to all non indian players...

My dear friend, moral of Vengsarkar's story is that be careful in this word, jaisi karni waisi bharni, despite of Dravid's teams' great performance in England, Vengy insulted Rahul by putting his nose in everything. Now Vengy is facing the music of his bad deeds. Let Vengy join his wife in Diamond business.

Hi Ashish, it's not 'White skin licking'. Even England football team had a foreign coach. It's simple logic that people bring in politics when one of their own is made the manager. In Indiaa's case, cast, religion, regionalism, etc come into play.Even organisation sometimes appoint from outside the organisation to bring in fresh ideas and an open mind.

Sandeep Patil
by Boon on Dec 04, 2007 10:32 PM

I think the best coach in India is Sandeep Patil, he has a very good vision, very good tactics and matured when it comes to dealing with people. I dont know why board ignores him every time. Don't forget he has taken Kenya to WC semi-finals.

Does India need a foreign coach?
by Vanamali sarma on Dec 04, 2007 10:27 PM  | Hide replies

Lal chand Rajput plus Robin singh plus Venkatesh Prasad seem more than adequate for India's needs, if at all BCCI is willing to bear their expenses to Australia

Not Good for Team
by Mahesh on Dec 04, 2007 10:24 PM

He is an egoist person and the egos from indian team and his ego are going to clash no matter what. If you had read about his comments on India, they are pthetic, it's not like we don't know it or accept it but the manner he has put in the comments is wrong. I don't see our team succeeding in Next WC either, lets get ready for another Coach-Team battle.
