No sooner has the announcement been made we would have million opinions, zillion talk shows led by anchors who would not have held a bat in their lives..a trillions options by ex/current cricketers..
I mean, why cannot we allow this guy to atleast start...The media seems to be biased against him.. the first time his name cropped up..the tv channels were showing footage of how GK got bowled, caught or was hit by bouncers.. this is extremely biased.
Let the guy join,work with team and be given time to deliver results. Let us not crucify him for every failure or making him a God for every success..
In a country of a billion people, each one whom considers himself/herself a cricketing expert, there cannot be any consensus on any action an individual takes..

totoman...nicely said. We indians crib and will crib all our life. Even if don bradman was living and our coach today we would have cribbed. no indian is worthy of being the crciket coach and thats the biggest shame because each one knows the others weakness for money and that's why the outsiders are taking advantage. why are we cribbing over a coach? have we ever heard or seen sania mirza's coach, v.anand's coach.

here is what India needs to do when they play in Australia:: 1.Dont meddle with the outside the off stump ball. There will be 3-4 slips waiting to take the catch. 2.Leave the bouncers alone--Especially Saurav Gangully. 3.Dont try to bowl too fast::Roger Binny and Mohinder Amarnath type bowling will do. 4.No cheeky singles ::Please run when 100% sure Rahul Dravid and Laxman. We may not win but we will get a draw atleast in the tests

lol...if they do what u say they will surely fail. this is what they need to do... 1. play agressively and hit any ball slightly outside off in the V for a four. 2. hook the bouncers for a six over long leg 3. bowl fast and hit the deck with pace 4. try to be agressive running between the wickets and steal singles wherever they can
this is the way to play australia..tit for tat..teams that have done this in the past have succeeded in winning in australia...including india in adelaide test during last tour to australia...
