The idea of ICL is one of the best and I thoroughly support it... There are many players in India who do not get a chance because of politics... And still keep trying hard... There is little doubt that many of them are going after money to ICL but i would ask "whats wrong in that"... Don't people like JP Yadav spend too much time playing Ranji trophy and get a chance only 10 years of consistent performance... I would say players like JP Yadav wud certainly welcome the ICL with garlands...

To be part of the international team the players have to bribe the BCCI officials and politicians but with ICL you are paid to play cricket. I welcome ICL
Fantastic. Congratulations Kapil. You have helped many younger players to earn money through their talents in the sports field. Others wise there is no chance for Tamilndu players except few. Thanks a lot.

rediff need time to copy the article of cricinfo and paste here and u also know it is difficult for their web developers too...
We are looking forward to see the good game. Go ahead ICL with all are with you. We love to see the much of any Nation. If there is ICL and Kapail PAJI the nothing like that. UUUUUUUUUUUUUUp. F---------------k BCCI
I very much doubt about the longevity of this stupid venture. Even a Multimillionnaire Kerry Packer's venture was short lived. I dont understand what the ICL guys want to achieve by playing these ageing and spent stars?

u stop seeing match and ur unfit to comment on cricket. What happened to binny, Vijay bharadwaj, abhiram, raghu ram bhat - why did they not come up in big way like other cricketers.

I will call u stupid for ur knowledge bank. remember Kerry Packer has introduesed new look one-day matches, colored clothings & white ball, & game in night. Even ICC was bowed to Kerry Packer before 1983 world cup & chennal 9 of Packer got life time telecasting rights in Austrelia. I support cricket no matter its ICL or BCCI. Otherwise also BCCI in junk of silly politicians, cricket should be kept out of durty politics

I believe u r being stupid. Kerry Packer's venture was not short lived. It was the first time that Day/Night ODI cricket and Coloured clothing was introduced in world cricket. For ur information, if u r living in NEVERLAND, it still is being played in the form Packer the visionary. ODI cricket in packer's version revived the fan following in cricket. Let these aged and spent stars earn some money. After all, they have a talent that is their only asset. Are they causing u any problem? U watch it if u want to, or leave it to others. As if they care for ur opinion. Even Kerry Packer faced opposition like this. There is another guy called Stanford in the Carribean who is running a 20/20 tournament all on his own and it has revived interest for cricket in the Windies (they were going behind basketball since their decline)

In BCCI led League the board headed by some useless lots of management earns. At least in ICL the talented players are earning. After all earning money and patriotism are different facets all together.

thats a silly statement. Arent the crickets playing for India (oops sorry, they play for BCCI), playing for money too? besides fame. What do you work for anyways: well, simple : its money, fame and self respect. so whats wrong what these cricketers do? And how on earth can BCCI decide to ban them. I think ICL is on a good wicket : if any cricketer challenges this statement / blanket ban by BCCI in court/ (even a labour court), im sure BCCI will lose!
