Those who are commenting very low of present Indian Captain! Have you ever played cricket? Have U been selected for atleast school team? Have U ever lead a local team atleast? Surely answer is NOT? You can only comment. Once country has selected and given captaincy and not allowing his style? If you are in his position(which is not possible in your dream even)you might have only shitted. Be fair and not child like! go to your mother and lie in her lap! You are fit only for that. Our top batsmen are aged and no consistant perfomance as we see in second innings! This will be the same with bowlers also withoug rest! He wanted to seal 'Series win!' which is a rare commodity than heroics and ending with 1-1 series draw! Captain is as good as team only! and expecting heroics from aged seniors is foolish! Also one in hand is worth two in bushes! Did'nt we get the cup? Dravid is successful leader of the more often failing TEAM! Oh commenting people please raise to the post of Indian Captain! I want to see you what Ur are doing to get India Cup with 5-0 win!

What does he mean when he gives such a pthetic excuse as ....its easy to sit in the drawing room and make comments ....but different being a captain?
how stupid he can get....is he trying to say all indian fans are so dumb and stupid.
As we didnt sack him after the world cup ...now he is really thinking we all are stupid.

PLease change the captain.
We need a aggressive captain.With Dravid's attitude we will be better off not going to Australia.
Captaincy makes a big difference. I watch the show during the lunch break Poineers of cricket.It was about Sachin. There was a section where everyone commented about his captaincy.
Dravid's view about the captaincy was its as good as the team.I will agree that for Dravid but for people like Ganguly,Imran Khan,Nasser Hussain,Steve Waugh its much more.Captaincy can be the difference between two similar team in terms of strength and weakeness.

Bottom line we have won series congratulations.If everybody starts playing like 20-20 then surely we would have lost squaring series 1-1.
If this urgency was shown during World Cup2007 against Bangla Desh Match by Saurav Ganguly we would have not lost that match. Dravid tried to recover from 11/3 and though Ganguly played well he could have got out and it would have been 25/4 then what? Dravid tied one end to see shine off the new ball though one too much. This much cricket you should know.

I loved one thing while watching the last test match..Dravid and Ganguly batting together.It showed who can score and who can stand(but not score)
The fact that whole india was watching was too much. Debate is over Dravid is shit and Ganguly is great.
ALL my friends who were Dravid supporter or gave him benefit of the doubt after the world cup...now hate dravid.

Yes we are no more poor when travelling abroad, but its natural tendency to keep something safe always in pocket to show in emergency depite being in no real threat of it. Had we put little more positive thought and little effort, we could have won 2-0. Hope in next trips we can overcome the second short comming as well.
Well well well last test match Dravid ended the ongoing debate of Dravid vs Ganguly. We looked at how both play when they are under pressure and bowl is moving. The result is out%u2026Ganguly can score and Dravid can Stand there for 2 hrs(no wonder he is called a wall). Dravid is the captain and he needs to lead from the front and by example showing some intent.Dravid is the worst captain India can ever have.He took of the shine of the great performance of the indian team.I feel for the team and how frustrating is it to see a captain bat like that when the team is leading by 350 .Ganguly and Sachin got standing ovation when they came to bat and when they got out.Dravid got cheers when he scored his every single run as he was embarrassing. Crowd was happy when he got out and Dravid was relieved its over.

Iam Dravid fan but wont let that to cloud my opinion on final test. If the captain's name read Ganguly or Kapil Dev the score would have read 2-0. But, then all make mistakes so fogive Dravid for this one. By the way Dravid won the series for India that is a good joke. It is the team that won the series for which Dravid was the captain. It is a team game and dont let individuals take away the glory.. who knows next maharashtra election it will be said Sharad Pawar won the series for India :)
