Tendulkar faces so many balls. Yet he has failed to score a hundred in 2 tests. Why is he afraid to score runs? The amount of balls he faced in the last 2 tests he could have easily scored a century in both. Even Dravid is scoring faster than Sachin. Even Kumble did in this match.

Mubarak ho..... "even Kumble did in this match " so this i the way u do the analysis.... this way Sreesanth should have been best batsman ...............
if Dravid leaves one outside the offstump he is regarded as Best , Wall and what not... if Sachin does that he is playing slow....
WHY???????
it is not Sachin but our expectations ,, we expect this kind of innings from Dravid and not from Sachin,,,,
Lets give him credit for scoring runs when every one else is saying he is spent force......
Yes he might not be same Sachin we know but still he is one of the best..... Its unfortunate that he did not score a century but he scored 91 and helped India win the second match ....and 82 here which will help India win SERIES.....

Come on! If Sachin helped India win the second test,(Forget Zaheer who bowled his heart out),where on earth was he sleeping when India was struggling to save the first test? Talk about when situation demands, why everytime Sachin bats like real Kumble???(Not today's one). You talk about Sachin helping India winning the series??? Ask him why he is still playing, when he is not too sure anymore where his off-stump is.....he'll tell....ask Ricky Ponting to retire today, I'll retire tomorrow. That guy is closing in too fast..... Scoring for India?? Who cares??My records are in danger....The sole reason of my taking risks in front of fast bowlers.....I dont even have that reflexes any more....And I need some commercial contracts too....
And who knows? They may ask me to lead the side after Dravid retires!!!
What happened to our slow-motion man today? I remember watching him topple down and fall while facing a yorker ball. Normally his nerve impulses travel very slowly to his brain. But becuase he was sick today, the impulses/ reflexes travelled faster to his brain than usual.
In todays competitive cricketing world scoring century once in a decade is not a joke. Kumble ko akele ko World Cup de do!
Looking at the scoreboard, it makes sense what great batting lineup really means. I wish these folks do something like this against Australia, before retiring.
Sachin Tendulkar and Sourav Ganguly have also applied themselves with humility and diligence. In the twilight of their illustrious careers, they might have been forgiven for taking short cuts, or else pleasing themselves. As former captains, they could have distanced themselves from the incumbent the better to pounce on any mishap. Instead they have batted with unwavering concentration, resisting a capable England attack. Ganguly played a lovely innings at The Oval and deserved better than to be the victim of a blunder. His contribution came just as India was faltering and showed him in the best possible light.
Memorable
One beautifully timed glide through cover will linger in the memory yet this was an innings notable for its intent not its periodic blessings. His darkness has not yet come.
Tendulkar was sublimely solid. It is no more possible for him to play an ugly innings than it was for Jane Austen to write a clumsy sentence.
Certainly he did not take the attack apart but he presented an almost immovable object. England battered his body but he did not wilt or risk his wicket.
His willingness to stand his ground in the face of an onslaught had been questioned. He met the challenge with fortitude.
It was satisfying to see cricketers of this calibre prepared to work so fiercely at the crease. Even as age takes its toll upon their powers, true sportsmen continue to serve their side with modesty and judgement.
I posted a truth .. and people started saying things like I am a Paki .. hah!! Thats your level guys .. Anything goes wrong in India .. blame the neighbour .. Yup, I am regional .. but I admit it .. I dont blame ISI for water not coming in my tap .. I am not ashamed of saying that I am prout of Kumble bcoz he is Southie .. I dont see anything wrong in that .. Even shows like Sa Re Ga Ma Pa and Indian Idol introduce contestants like Maharashtra Cha Gaurav and Bengal Beauty and all that .. Why are you guys denying a fact that exists ..

Mr. On please read bombislam.com website and will give you one example how much non muslims hate you for the brutality you love to embrace. i would advice you just go outside india and tell a non muslim that you are a cristain, jewish etc and tell them that you hate islam and see their reaction. you will be amazed to see the hatred toward your religion. George bush will get rid of all muslims. bcos he is clever and powerful.

After putting up this strange performance, Kumble has confessed that he was not feeling well. He said, he knew something was wrong with him today. He said, he would normally topple down and even fall while facing a yorker ball. But today he felt different. He also said that normally his nerve impulses travel very slowly to his brain. But becuase he was sick today, the impulses/reflexes travelled faster to his brain than usual.
