Laxman's one class batsman who has stood up against genuine pace overseas and is again ingored. Seems individual choices and interestes play bigger part in team selection than country's interests. The so called young team has failed on home soil forget overseas.
Looking at indian teams performance in the champions trophy its seems that mission 2007 of Mr chappell is to finish in the bottom of the list in the world cup.
iTs a high time that all experimentation should be stopped and some senior like ganguly, laxman should also be included.

Indian criceters,if i may call them had enough practice and rest.They had well expierienced palyers if i may say so and lot of public money .THEY WILL NOT PLAY WHEN PRESSED ENEN IN FRONT THEIR OWN CROWDS. If one player plas in one match next match he will get runout for his mother's sake.

My issue with the indian cricket team is very simple and straight.The indian cricketers are paid lavishly,both inside and outside,and yet their commitment to the cause is pathetic.They are paid more than our scientists and CEO's,for playing just a game which doesn't determine the destiny of the nation.So it is very much the question of accountability and therefore some responsibility has to be fixed with respect to performance and monetary benefits.
Definitely India needs more class. More experience? Definitely players like Kumble, Laxman, Zaheer ... Left the only name out - Ganguly? Untouchable? Un-namable? Too risky? Sure India lacked aggression, sure India lacked dominance - who will give it? Dravid? or Chappell from the dressing room?
What about bringing back Ganguly? Or did Sharad Pawar (now that he is in power) forbade you to mention Ganguly?
I hv d opinion dat v must hv a Former Indian Player as Coach for Team India. D biggest reason for this opinion is dat an Indian can hv d true feeling of victory for Team India whereas d foreign coach wud b a little biased when Team India plays against his own country. Remember World Cup 03 & post scenario wherein Team India was d only team which could beat Australia. Greg Chappel hs gradually destroyed Team India & further destroying d same. He hs passed lose comments for senior players like Sachin Tendulkar & Sourav Ganguly. Bsides he hs bn doing over experiments with d entire team. At one side he hs affected d balling of Irfan Pathan by putting up pressure of batting on him, on d odr hand he hs also affected d batting of all odr senior batsmen by changing dir order of play. It is our misfortune dat despite of producing all time great Sunil Gavaskar, Kapil Dev, Chandrashekhar, Prasanna, Bdi, Mohinder Amarnath, Dilip Vengsarkar, etc. v have failed to produce a Coach for our Team India. I feel as of today Sandeep Patil is d most eligible former player who can replace d present Coach Greg Chappel. In fact he shud b discharged from d responsibility of d coach of Team I
