Excuses

I would say "Successful give results, failed ones give reasons". That is what Sehwag is doing.

MORE THAN CRICKET.
by Tanveer on Nov 30, 2006 04:08 PM

I feel the issue is something different:-

These players having earned so much thru commercials do not have the fire in their bellies to perform.

So, our board should make a rule;-

EITHER CRICKET OR ADS.

Yes, You are rigte Shewag.!! Before blaming others, you should see yourself first... What the hell are you doing in last few matches... and What Kartik is doing in Team if Dhoni is there.. Why you are ignoring Dinesh Mongiya.. He is better then ur Kartik...!!
I tell, that Shewag, Kaif, Pathan, Jaffar should be kickout from the team and Try rest of good players like Gautam, Suresh Raina, Power etc.. You (Shewag) is good for nothing for Indian Team.. He should be out from team atleast 2 months..
All the player should be banned for any Advertisement and Every loose (match) their salary should be cut.. then they will realize their importance in Indian Team..

MISSED EXPERIENCED PLAYERS???????????????????????
by anvijo on Nov 30, 2006 03:45 PM

Mr. Sehwag!!!! R u not experienced enough??? How much experience you want now, still 200-300 matches???? I agree that India is lacking in experience but players like you, Sachin, Kaif, Dhoni, and some others are experienced enough that v in India should expect from you.. even an unexperienced person or a person who does not know any cricket will tell that the only need is to hang around in the middle on wicket.. Runs will come automatically then.... I doubt you people should have got some ad assignments in Africa that you are in so much hurry to wind up our batting...... not able to find more words... Mera Bharat REALLY Mahan

Need of experienced players
by Asoke Sen on Nov 30, 2006 03:42 PM

Everyone knows that there is a need of both - experienced and inexperienced. But what percentage. But so long your GURU Greg and his chamcha exists Team India - formed by Sourav will perish. Hence the time has come to kick off GURU first and then direct all the players that performance is a must otherwise no chance to cross the hurdle of quarter final even.

Lack of Experience..??
by Sandeep on Nov 30, 2006 03:34 PM

Here is who has played how many ODIs: Sehwag:162, Tendulkar:373, Kaif:142, Agarkar:190, Zaheer:110, Kumble:250+, Dhoni:50+, Irfan:60+ and still you say that all these are novoice???
What is the definition of an experienced player than?? I think you mean 1000+ODIs will be the idle choice..!

Take break from shootings and modelling and play serious cricket guys.

Why is Shewag in team ?
by kaushik on Nov 30, 2006 03:26 PM

If good batting performance is the criteria to play in Indian team then why is Sachin playing in this team ? Has anybody checked his staistics for the last 10 matches ? When will he perform ? Just because he is Sachin nobody has the courage to utter a word . The time has come to analyse his performance. Of course we Indians have decided to keep quiet on Sachin 's performance issue and not being honest while criticizing the performance of Indian team.

'Ind missed experienced players'
by Maxwell Coutinho on Nov 30, 2006 03:26 PM

Rahul is not there and Sachin is not in form but why our new Captain Sehwag is not saying anything on his form. Why he is in team. Its good they removed him from vice captain for test series. We should learn how to drop big names from team if they dont perform. Australians is good example for this.
