Is Sehwag not experienced enough. The question is not of experience. The question is that of commitment.
The number of boundaries and sixes matches exactly with the SA innings. What was lacking was the ones and the twos - no one needs experience to do that - One needs commitment and dedication to run those singles and twos.
Unfortunately, the indian cricketers are a bunch of lazy characters with commitment and motivation levels so low that basics are forgone, forgotten.
It is a pity to see young players displaying a lack of courage, stamina, commitment and application.
Mr. Sehwag, fact is - You and your team as of today have downgraded yourself that you don't have motivation and dedication to run for your nation and rather choose to stand and deliver the boundaries hits. While this is OK, it involves a lot of risk and often results in the team loosing quick wickets - which is what has happened.
Go and tell your story to someone else. We Indians are not fools to believe in this nonsense.
Excuses , Excuses,Excuses...It seems our captains and coach prepare ready made excuse from the very start of match.They have reasons for all defeats.If new players are included they say lack of Experienced players , if Experienced players are present it is lack of new blood.
I will not go to extent of saying "chappal ko Chappal se maro " but surely in my 50 years of cricket loving life I have not seen such arrogant and rude coach.Has he been sent to demoralise us by Auistralians ?
Why don't you just say "we are not capable to win"
If Sehwag is talking about Dravid, then ots okay, But if he intend to say about ganguly then why at this time, When you had been winning with these yougsters at that time you had named it as the WC 2007 team, and now you are loosing the games then you rember the experienced players,
There is no question of experience, this is the problem of consistency of the player, Not a single player is playing consistingly, even Sehwag and Tendulkar are failing in all the so called crucial matches. in 3rd One day only Dravid had played what about others. The games like Cricket, Football, HOkey, Basket ball are the game in which team work is required and everybody has to contribute.
If we depend only on single one like Sehwag ( who has nevere score more than 20 except one or two games since 15-20 games) Sachin ( who has scored high when he came back from INjury, this is what the stretegy adopted by Sachin, whenever he came back he scores high and there after no such a big inning which can lead Indian towards victory)
Rahul is playing but we can not depend on him, because he may fail then who is next. ... This is the subject of selectors to think and build a strong team for WXC 2007

What is that he did instead of commenting on sachin and dravid? This he knows earlier and it is an oppurtunity given to him to prove himself with the team available. He should stop giving nonsense statments.
Also the mgmt should seriously thing of bringing back players like Laxman & Ganguly.
These days players are busy in advertisement. They earn hell lot of money. Various people from india watches match by taking leave from office, by standing on the road, by bunknig the school etc.
All the players should play seriously and the mgmt enforce rule that if you win matches then only money will be paid to playes otherwise it is not and all the players shouldn't take any advertisement.
Now world cup is going to come. Look at the amount of advertisement about cricket. Thx, Satheesh.
why should we trust them , we dont have any interest left any more in the game.we dont care what they do and we are not going to put ourself down with their effort..there are some other beautiful things & games to look at....be damn with indian cricket and let all of us stop watching cricket & give support to people of other sporting event
I m sure u wud improve once the series is over....and nothing is at stake...Improvement wud be in the form of narrow margins defeat instead of big defeats...
We do not have any cricket team. We got a wonderful advertising Team. Our Cricket team is very much interested in promoting products rather than playing CRICKET. With the present standard of team, we cannot win a any match. To win a match, we must have a good cricekt team under the guidance of GREG CHAPEL.
