GOOD FOR NOTHING POLITICIANS
by Mahendran on Nov 27, 2006 02:28 PM

I think these politicians have no other work to do. therfore they have started to discuss about cricket in Parliament, when there are so many issues regarding the development & welfare of the people is there, they are discussing bloody cricket.

If at all they want to discuss / show their concern then they should think & discuss about Hockey which I think our National Game and we are continuously topping the world ranking from the down order.

Whenever our Hockey Team goes for any big tournament we always hear that they will try to come in last four which we use to think that they are talking about reaching to Semi Final but we poor Indians only come to know later that actually they are talking in the finishing tally they will try to be at last four.

Oh Yeah!
by Manoj Tuli on Nov 27, 2006 02:22 PM

Yeah, the country has become the most happiest country in the world. We have become a super power and are able to defend ourselves effectively against the US, if need arises(let alone pakistan). The litrecy level of the country is 100%. Polio has been eradicated. There are no aids patients in the country. We have become self sufficient in the terms of food, we dont need to import anything now. The roads have be developed for the next 20 years. The forigen reserves are over-flowing. Corrouption only exists in the history books now. There are no pending cases in the courts. We have made flyovers across the nation for a smooth driving experience. There are no rapists in the country. The jails are empty and crying for criminals. The country is on a fast march towards technological innovation. Its been decades that we landed on moon and years when we landed on MARS. The farmers are enjoying holidays in Canada. There are no people Below Poverty Line.

Too much? Well all this has to be true, why else would the elite politicians have enough time to discuss cricket in the parmilemt?

when india losses in cricket match they want to bring privlage motion but When china says Aru.Pra belong to them, it is not a important thing to discuss in parliment
by srikanth on Nov 27, 2006 02:20 PM

When china says Aru.Pra belong to them, it is not a important thing to discuss in parliment, but when india losses in cricket match they want to bring privlage motion. That to by the congress party member Mrs. Renuka chowdery?. Where this government is heading to?. Why do not they any serious bussiness to talk. As a citizen of indian i am deeply ashmed to call them as MPs, we should call them as ......? I do not know what to tell.let readers decide.

Why nobody wants to talk when india losses so badly in football, hockey etc., why not sack all the coaches?. Why they will not speak when we loose in olympics, asian games etc., What nonesense this MPs are. let them behave properly.

It is citizen money , they are responsible for citizen economy. Let them earn with there efforts, then they will know the real problems in life. It is shame on them. It shows they do not have better bussiness to do when this country is ripped by so many problems. This government is a total failure in all front. they have only 700 days to correct themselfs or they will face the music from the younger and serious india citizens.

May god bless this ......?

Chappel's Comments on MPs
by BCM on Nov 27, 2006 02:17 PM

Chappel is not only an unworthy cricket coach, he is also an arrogant upbrat. He lacks decency. Remeber the obsene gesticulation of finger at Kolkata?

This person even lacked sportsmanship during his playing days and had ordered Trevor Chappel (his younger brother) to bowl underarm against NewZealand.

He has insulted Indian MPs by saying that these MPs are paid to criticise him!

This is seer non-sense. He should be reprimanded by the Parliament. After all, he is now a paid-employee of BCCI.

His performance is dismal and he should be booted out without slightest delay if India were to salvage its pride in world cricket.

ONE DAY LOSS
by K.VIJAYAN on Nov 27, 2006 02:11 PM

Is loosing a one day game is a NATIONAL DISASTER ?
so much has been talked and written about it.Then
what about other games like Football & Hockey.
No word has been spoken after India Lost all
Football matches in Asian Qualifier & and India,s
debacle in Hockey recently. It is high time that
we should think about other games also which is
played in India. It is not only the Cricket.

Who is responsible ?
by P K Chatterjee on Nov 27, 2006 02:08 PM

It is unfortunate that we have realized dominancy of one man so late that hardly anything can be done before World Cup 2007.Why have we not woken up early ? It is the same team which won seven matches in a row in the Workd Cup in 2003 with the same bunch of players (except few ) with different leadership style . We forgot that completely when our board/selection committee gave in meakly to the whimses and fancies of an individual who wanted to take over the rein with authority but failed miserably and landed us in a ditch from where it will be extremely difficult to recover unless we take the corrective steps now itself . We may have to take hard decisions in the interests of the team and above all country's prestige .
