Now if Chappel drops Sachin, the whole country and not just Bengal will explode. People will be out on the streets and the very same veterans who supported the axing of Saurav will start finding faults within Chappel. But still I think Sachin should be dropped. He should be told to play first class cricket and get some confidence back..
pacers : kudos to the bowlers -- not only the pacers. We should be proud of them. India's advertisers should show what a great bunch the new bowling team is. They do whatever they can.
Dravid : he's NOT showing lack of imagination in captaincy. Usually he's gotten pretty good at rotating strike when he bats and when he stops doing that, he falls. 52 is NOT a bad score -- he didn't fall to a bad shot. Yes, too much praise is NOT good for oneself. For his own sake, I wish the media to stop the TOO MUCH thing. Be moderate on praise and criticism.
I hope that those who failed in our 1st innnings are able to show more character and win this team which is big for both Dravid and Sachin.

For the last couple of matches, if u have observed one thing, its the lower order that has been doing the bulk of scoring. The contribution from Top 5 has been negligible, if u discount the sleeping beauty tracks of Lahore and Faislabad. Even on a dead wicket like Faislabad, it was Pathan & Dhoni who saved us from follow on, and the lower order made sure we got a marginal lead. Watching Sreeshanth tackle Flintoff with fire, made me wonder, what the hell, are our Top 5 batsman for, poking at deliveries outside off stump to be caught behind? Our bowlers bought us back into match with superb bowling, or else we would have to be chasing a score of 600 plus. But with this batting, i wonder whether we can overtake a target of 200 also. The first 5 batsman are supposed to bat, damnit, you cant expect the lower half to always bail you out of trouble. Maybe it's time we packed the side with 10 bowlers who can bat. Even in Mohali, it was great bowling by Kumble and Munaf which won us the match, else it would have ended in a tame draw,and by now we would be fighting to make sure, we dont lose the series to England.
Tendulkar Should understand that he is not fit for playing Test Cricket anymore and should silently quit from test cricket before he is pushed out like Saurav.
Sewag should take a long rest for gods sake to get India a better opener than him
