plz dont blame Mr. Chappell
by Arun Kishore on Dec 11, 2006 10:56 AM

when we look into our history we can see that the Indians are consistanly poor in foreign bouncy tracks. The problem is not with the coach but with the environment we have created for our players. Even though BCCI is the richest Board in the world, the are not doing anything towards the longrun. All programmes are shortrun and for making money only. Its true that we have Mohali, but how many Indian batsmen have experience in playing there much. All our domestic tracks are slow ones and our players are comfortable only with these types of endangerded paradises which are existing only in this country.

Plz forgive Mr. Chappell, who is our guest now. Treat him like a guest and a wellwisher.

Why not blame him????
by Paul on Dec 11, 2006 09:01 AM

I dont remember Mr.Chappel ever saying anything like "Dont give me any credit, all credit to the boys" when India was whipping some of the worst teams in their home turf. In fact, he basked in the (reflected) glory then, came up with one pompous statements after another. Who can forget him doing Bhangra after India beat SL in Mohali.
Now that the good days are gone, why should he wash his hands off??? If he bask in the teams glory, he should be prepared to get grilled with the team during poor shows.
PS: India will soon play WI in their home turf soon, the results of the series are pretty much obvious. Wait and see Mr.Chappel at his pompous best once again.

Batsmen needs to be more responsible
by Shyam Shanker on Dec 11, 2006 08:51 AM

The failure in the recent one dayers cannot be just attributed to the coach. Coaching will only help to develop strategies. Its ultimately the players who need to perform. Looking at the manner in which some of our Batsmen like Sehwag got out,it clearly shows lack of Responsibility & ownership. The Body language itself was so very arrogant & the attitude was a typical "who care's" one.

Every individual in the team should take responsibility for the loss.

Gangulys appear in this world very rare.
Look at the face, look at the grace, and look at the emotions.
Look at his pleasures, look at his pains, and look at the man who is a Leader.
Look at him who rescued Indian cricket from the bookies.

Look at the man who charged the averages and ordinaries in to performers.

You guys put pedestrians and soldiers ahead of the leader.

Dry Mouthed now can at best be a good soldier.
Look at his face. Never beaming, never bright.
Nervous and brooding all the time.
Always under the spell of White Mischief.

And a pigmy judged the tallest the jumping Tennis Ball sacked Ganguly, with a mischaveous goat-like-smile.

You bring Cornell too late.

Shame on you Indians, the jealous, the buffoons, the good for nothings, and the diggers of your own graves.
Good things are never meant for you.
Even if you get it you will lose it soon.

You deserve another 1000-year rule by the whites.
Perhaps beginning with stony faced White Mischief.
