D'pur feeds Fodder to the Journalists
by C.N. Shankar on Sep 26, 2005 03:52 PM

How can Mr. Dungarpur be so sure? I for one feel the Mail would have been addressed to the CEO of BCCI who is the Employer of Greg Chappell. Greg would not have been stupid to copy it to King and Country even if he knew that Dalmia is the King of BCCI even if it is by Proxy.

What Mr. Dungapur should have insisted is "to find the Culprits" leaking out such confidential mails and Punish them. He was merely grinding an Axe against his old Foe.

Dalmiya..............

This very cheap politics by Pawar group. It is highly unethical to make political capital out the very unfortunate Chappel-Ganguly row which will only harm the Indian cricket. If Dungarpurkar has any love for Indian cricket, apart from using cricket to grab high management posts to corner power and prestige,he should desist from such cheap tactics. If Pawarji is intersied in the welfare of Indian cricket, he should openly decry Dugapurkar's statement and completely dissociate himself from such nefarours activities and offer his advise to the BCCI president in confidence and not through press.

by Binoj on Sep 26, 2005 03:29 PM

dont you guys have any other work rather than harping on cricket .we have a lot of other burning issues going on in India which needs immediate attention .Why are you media guys spending so much time and energy on this trivial issue ... I mean you guys dont have anything else to report

I feel its high time cricket gets a secondary

and a step motherly treatment.

move overguys to some thing more interesting such as tennis,FI,Soccer; rather than reporting on gloated egos of few crap characters

Stop this farce!!
by Nirmalya Choudhury on Sep 26, 2005 03:26 PM

Incumbent BCCI officials:

PLEASE stop humiliating us the followers of Indian cricket any further! Please do not forget whatever is Indian Cricket is today is not because of you. It is the players and their efforts which makes us dream and dream BIG!

For once try and act sensibly, solve the current crisis soon before it snowballs out of control. Get Ganguly, Dravid, Chappel, all support staff and tour manager together and thrash out the problem once and for all. No more leaks to Press about what transpired in the meeting please! We do not want know! We just want to see our players playing their heart out to win.

Mr.Chappel, our suggestion to you is learn the great Indian virtue of "Patience". Take it a little slow, talk to John Wright, whom you have dragged unnecessarily into your mail. Instead try and achieve what he did and go further. We have high hopes from you.

If Ganguly has to go then let it be! But try and listen to what he has to say. Just remember you all glowed from the merry light emanated by him and his Team India not so long ago.

Chappell's e-mail
by Jay Amrith on Sep 26, 2005 03:24 PM

Chappell has laid bare the horrible can of worms that is Indian cricket, a malingering cowardly captain, his lackey an off-spinner who is a chucker, and a whole host of corrupt filthy rich officials. Let us burn a few stumps and throw the ashes on Mr.Ganguly, who has brought Indian cricket to its nadir.

DALMIYA and GANGLUY are hand in glove
by Melvin on Sep 26, 2005 03:10 PM

Not surprising. Dalmiya has clear vested interested in protecting Ganguly. For all those who say Gangluy is the best captain for India we need to wake up. INDIAN CRICKET RANKING IS PATHETIC. IT IS LOWER THAN TEAMS LIKE NEW ZELAND, SRI LANKA ETC. Yes Ganguly had give us some good wins. He has also captained the team from number 2 position 3 years ago to number 7. So it is clear that we have given him much more time than he deserves.
