Yes, he may have been trying to save Saurav, but what is the great Raj Singhji is doing? Trying to hang Saurav?. Mr. Raj Singh as usual seems hell bent on maligning our cricketers as he has done many times in the past. As per the Great!! man Saurav is no Bradman while Greg Chappell is among the greats.
Greg Chappell may have been a great cricketer but Saurav is not exactly a Pigmy as Raj Singh would like us to believe! More than 10000 Runs in ODI, more than 5000 in Tests, The most successful indian captain are only some of his achievements.
For all chappell is worth and having led one of the great nations, his record as captain is exactly same as Saurav!!
And what about Greg the coach? Has he accomplished anything?
What about Greg the human being? He is the same man who adviced his brother to bowl underarm!
So Mr. Dungarpur, Do not try to cozy up to Greg just because he is white skinned. You have in the past also hurt the Indian cricket immensely. Please shut up about Saurav. If you cannot give the man his due at least do not malign him!

well yu got ur facts wrong abt mr ganguly he is most successful captain bcoz he has led india to victories against zimbabwe,kenya,bangladesh + plus other weak teams like west indies,the old english squad(nasir &co),plus home victories using scruffed up pitches which assisted spin in the 3rd day of test match itself.
His one day record is pathetic again (nothin special other than natwest trophy against a weak english team)
(Well can they win a match against england in england
now with the likes of flintoff,harmison,trescothick,
simon jones,hoggard etc.) no way! in fact they will even have a tough time in india.
As regards true success the maximum tournaments were won under captaincy of mhd.azhar and if the world cup
is the criteria then kapil,amarnath and co. achieved the distinction of capturing the biggest prize.
Ganguly is just a losing finalist (strange but true)
Most of the one day tournaments he has led the team are against weak teams or tournaments where out of 4 2 teams will be weak like zimbabwe,bangladesh,west indies etc.
Also the aussie trip result is absolute farce the test was a drawn borin series (1-1)+They got a severe

I agree with this view. Raj Singh Dungarpur is the same guy who humiliated Kapil Dev, Amarnath and other greats of Indian cricket. How many tests did u play to comment on how Saurav is doing? You are not fit to talk about cricket. You can only spit out words as they come to your mouth. Saurav is great...he is down right now buthe will come back. I just doubt the mentality of a person who will support outsiders against our own people.
Very much probable..know the kind of dirty politics going on in our BCCI and Mr Dalmiya's known support for our ver own (not in form since 2 years) DADDA..
One thing for sure, if dadda manages a coup this time around..he really is the DADDA of Indian Cricket and BCCI and so Greg Chappel will better start going to the chappel..
I do really hope..Greg Stays on..about daddaa , cant say anything..coz if Greg erred by doing so, i cannot be a party to the same folly ;)
i think chappell is right. gangully is not fit mentally and physically to lead team india. board should give dravid to lead the team to win 2007 world cup
