Why there is a raucus against the leakage of letter?
Greg Chappel in fact should publicly report this , if he is confident on his analysis.Afterall, such a mail discloses the qualities of the skipper of national cricket team.A six pager agony cannot be a personal property, can not be managed by manipulation.If Mr.Chappel and his admirers are so much concerned about the after effect of such mails when gets out in public, why he or they had made the protests when Skipper Ganguly told the same to press about these two's "step down controversy" conversation.
Double standard is more harmful than a single standard...whatever it is.
I think both these men have done a lot of work to promote criket in India, but thinks its time they stepped down. It seems that they feel they're Indian criket and everything should now be controlled by them. The've become their own monsters and cant see beyond themselves.
It is not surprise. B'coz he is a born dirty politician and a great trickster. But more surprising is, how government agencies not put him behind the bar, over match-fixing and allied scams!!!
Nobody can dispute on Ganguly's able capataincy and fighting spirit, but thats a history. His attitude has changed a lot and brought more disrespect to India and the game for the past two years. You can't keep rotten things, despite you liked/loved it earlier. Along with Ganguly, his followers must be out of team, for their gross indiscipline, especially Yuvraj and Harbajan.
Henceforth, there should be one line contract to all players like "Perform or Perish".
We, Indians, must protect our self-respect by protesting continuation of Ganguly and Dalimiya's gang anymore in the affairs of cricket.
I appeal to all medias that, be impartial on Ganguly and Dalmiya's matters. Don't try to creat sympathy wave, as it will kill every spirit of cricket. The country and Her self-esteem is more important than any individual.
After darkness, there is always sunlight. Lets pray the dirty episode of cricket, is washed away alongwith these dirty people.
i think ganguly should be sacked from the team because of his activities.team india needs coach like chapell.the board needs to be hard on ganguly who has been creating groups in team to hang on to his captaincy.ANY discuss held with in dressing room should be cinfidential and it is shame on gangulys part to reveal that to the press.HE is experienced no dought he has done a lot to indian cricket bur that is all past and we need to look at the things with the 2007 world cup people like dravid sachin kumble should be given captaincy but not selfish people like ganguly.Had ganguly not scored that 100 he could have never revealed the thing so the board needs to send messege to players that no one should take his place for granted and all are one and players like raina,venugopal rao should be groomed for world cup and under the guidance of chapell the team will do well.so the board needs to deciede wheather it wants saurav ganguly or indian cricket.Ganguly should atleast be sacked from captaincy so that he can concentrate on batting.The board must take steps to avoid such things in future.
Shame on you Mr. Dalmiya. This speaks for our sorry state of cricket in our country where the entire world is moving towards making the game more professional, we are busy politicising it. At this rate, we can't even win against Kenya-A team, leave alone World Cup - 2007. We are losing interest in Indian Cricket. Good luck Mr. Dalmia.
One should desist from making irresponsible statements such as this, particularly when he is in high position.People are not fools to be carried away by such wild allegation.If he was so sure about Dalmiya leaking the e-mail to Mahendra,he should have come up with a cogent proof thereof.

I could not agree more!!!!!!!!!! Coach has no business telling selector who should lead the team..just coach the team you are given. That is the contract.
If Ganguly needs to be replaced, selectors will do so.
I dont think, there is any thing in the mail which suggests us to show sympathy to Ganguly. If what ever that email said is true, then Ganguly shud be dumped ceremoniously. He is an Indian captain behaving like a Club captain.
