Well said Mr Dungarpur!
by Raj on Sep 27, 2005 06:50 AM

I am happy that things are coming out and that Ganguly and Dalmiya are exposed. I am really happy that Dungarpur has spoken and Ganguly and Dalmiya must realise that Cricket India is not their father's property. These two should be kicked out of the Indian cricket so that we can get on to the business once again. You won't get a coach like Chappel and Wright just like that. Truly no one in India will like to see the downfall of Rahul Dravid due to dirty politics played by Ganguly and Dalmiya. Go to hell you two !!!

I can see much more politics then what has surfaced in recent time for sure. Its quite natural that politics is in the blood of we Indians but sadly this is played even in sports and especially cricket because of lots of money!!!! Shame on you guys!

Ganguly

Ganguly must go. He should not have discussed his conversations with Chappel in media. He should have taken up the matter with the BCCI officials. Mr. Dungarpur is 100% correct in this statement and I fully adopt it. One should see the fear which oozes out of Ganguly's eyes when he bats. The man is scared and needs to step down. If he performs well, he can retain his position in the team and if needed be made captain again. No reason to sit on old laurels. Win against Zimbavwe should not even count. It is a weak team.

Sad ....it sure is ...!!!
by Ravi Shankar on Sep 27, 2005 03:24 AM

It is a very Pathetic and an unfortunate situation that Players and Board officials, within our sports put their personal profits and egos ahead of National Pride.

All these guys better realise that they are directly or indirectly setting examples / trends for the younger generations to emulate.

Come on India..!!!!

Ganguly should step down
by mukul anand on Sep 27, 2005 02:23 AM

I am agree in totality with what Dungarpur has stated. Our country is already abused by politician so cricket. We should not allow dirty politics to happen anyplace immaterial ones past performance.Seeing and analyzing Ganguly's capacity as a Captain in current scenario , he doesn't even capable to be the 13'th player.Hope that atleast this time time truth wins and politics falls. Sourav - Chappell bombing!!!
by Pranab on Sep 27, 2005 12:40 AM

It ultimately needed someone like Mr.Greg Chappell to explode the rot out of the unprincipled Prince.BCCI must be ever grateful to him.It was not for nothing that the likes of Gavaskar,Shastri and co.had bestowed the fate of India's cricket in the hands of the former Australian skipper.

Where does the sporting spirit exists....?
by vijay on Sep 27, 2005 12:35 AM

Hi,

The cricket is a game not a Politics. If Ganguly was really a good captain he would not have leaked the Conversation between him & Chappell.I Say the Dungarpur comments are worthy on Ganguly & Dalmiya. If an issue ocurred in the team first he should concentrate on solving the issue. Not on elections. They want power. They dont want team. Game should be played by game only not by politics.

Regards,

vijay

Not that Dungarpur came out with this - these are brave folks trying to do good. Damn Saurav and Dalmia - they are a curse to Indian cricket!

I used to love both these gentlemen back in the day.

What a shame?

Remember 'Absolute Power Corrupts Absolutely'

Revamp BCCI first.

The famous Chappel Email
by Kaushik on Sep 27, 2005 12:10 AM

Mr. Dungarpur needs an excuse to criticise Mr. Ganguly and Mr. Dalmiya at the slightest pretext. Being an ex president of BCCI why can't he follow the same principle of not spitting in the public. He is also not doing any good to the image of Indian cricket by his public criticisms.
