Cricket has taken beating once again ,itm is sad to hear rajsing taking about favourtism,he was mainly responsible to cut short the career of mohinder and many other cricketers.
STOP CRICKET FOR ONE YEAR !!!! All will learn a good and big lesson out of this ! No discussions ! No hassels ! No media ! No idiotism ! People will work in their resp fields and no doubt our national income shall grow more than the income from CRICKET. Remenber , this too much of cRICKETISM , shall die its own death soon !! We people deserve this since we all pampered them !
The internal squabble of BCCI is now being washed dirty in public. The public and media should stop giving importance to BCCI in particular and Indian Cricket in general. It is a shame that we won a cricket series abroad ie outside our continent after 19 years and that too against a team like Zimbabwe.It means that ever since Sachin has started playing for India, we haven't won a series outside our sub continent. We boast that we are second only to Australia. Why can't we have a world beater eleven. With our population, we should produce such a team. In the Ganguly vs Greg Chappel case, both should be asked to leave in the interest of Indian Cricket and no compromise should be worked out. In Ganguly's case besides his form and if what Chappel has said is true he should never play for India. As per statistics, he is the most successful Indian Captain, but such statements have gone to his head. In case of the coach, we should not have foreign coaches at all. Remember, when John Wright was a coach and when Indian team visited New Zealand, we were greeted with pitches which did not suit our players and we were hammered by Kiwis just befor the previous World Cup.Go Ganguly, go Greg.
First of all politicians must keep away from any sports. They are not professionals. Coaches are selected and given the job because they knew better and are capable to analyse each player's plus and minus points and advice them correctly. They have the status of a teacher. A captain is only a memebr of a team and he is bound to listen to the coach. It is the coache's job to make the team members dicilined and any member who think otherwise should not have a place in the team. The national selection committee should not be on regional basis and so should be the selection also. If an umpire, though can make mistakes, the players are not to question him on and off the field and if acted otherwise are punished. Like wise they players who violates any of the code of conduct should not find a place in the team. There are grevence procedures and no player should be allowed to short cut it. The Highest Officials must see that their actions are transparent and must know that it is the public's money they are dealing with. The lack of professionalism, distributed responsibility and accountabilty are the main reaons for the present state of the Indian Cricket. Let us hope for the good.
I read most of the messages, some of the messages includes very offensive language. Peaople should be more careful while expressing their views.
However I feel, Greg is not suitable for coaching Indian team. Instead of uniting the team during tournament he is demoralising the players. He made chaos. As a senior and aged person he has not set good example as a coach.
I feel Ganguly is the best ever captain in Indian cricket. He has the right attitude and agressive mentality towards game to lead Indian team in the world cup.
Dungarpur should reveal any proofs to substantiate his statement about Dalmiya leaking Chappell's mail. His rancour against Ganguly is also evident in this article. Looks like there is a lot of sleaze in the BCCI and a visit by CBI is long over due!

Both damilya and ganguly must stop hijacking indian cricket.
For those who says ganguly is great captain should know that probably he is the only indian captain to have likes of sachin, sehwag, dravid, laxman, yuvraj, kaif, srinath, kumble, zaheer, pathan at the same time.... i guess he is just been lucky with time.
I hope everyone knows that the mail was addressed to : Board of Control for Cricket in India president Ranbir Singh Mahendra(courtesy DNA, India TV). Based on this fact, I feel Chappel selected the right guys to put forward his concerns.
Now here we have to see who got the forwarded mail from this point.
It seems Ganguly has been backed up by one of the high profile guy in BCCI.
So I feel there are some facts lies in D'pur statement.
i feel we should allow Greg to take total control of the Team India. he is only coach who has taken initiative to make indian team more athletic and disciplined. this requires complete change in the mindset of current Indian team, who are not at all used to all this. hence ppl like Ganguly who do not want to come out of there comfort zone, have no other option but to play blame games. with external support of destroyer of indian cricket team (Mr dalmiya) ganguly is keeping no stone unturned to chuck out Greg. I appeal to the concerned authority, please remove Mr dalmiya frm which ever position he is holding in the BCCI and let the Grg chappel do the talking. If he wants a fully fit and athletic team for world cup he is doing no wrong. we have seen in the past teams like Australia without big names have always managed to win more games than teams like India (where every player is a match winner on papers). about Harbajan, i will like to mention that he is not doing even 50% of what Anil Kumble was doing in his Prime. so bhajji please keep your heads down, and fight to maintain your place in the side.
