Twist in Ganguly-Chappel saga
by g.chandrasekaran on Sep 18, 2005 07:44 PM

It is well known what a wily guy this Ganguly is and he does behave arrogantly courtesy that man Dalmia, who , somehow, still manages the affairs of the Board. Shameful thing is there is no man with guts in the BCCI, S K Nair being one stooge of Dalmia just for power . I will not be surprised if Chappel is punished instead of Ganguly. Those five wise men of this country's BCCI slection board should have acted with sense in not bringing back Ganguly but as I said , do they have spine? All power mongers and Dalmia stooges. I hope some wisdom will dawn in somebody to stand up boldly to BCCI and make sure Chappel is given all protection.

these are realyy bad days for indian cricket. with the world cup less than 2 years away, the players should have been concentrating to get things right, but things are only going from bad to worse. if tha pathetic performance of team india was not enough, then indian cricket lovers are now ENJOYING the war within the dressing room. i can only pray that the board takes some steps in right directions to put things in order so that the players can focus on the world cup.

Chappell as Coach

It is extremely unfortunate that just when a tough man has been chosen to mould the Indian Team to fulfill the dream of millions (A Repeat world cup victory)of Cricket followers in this cricket mad country, we have self centered sportsmen trying to create disharmony. Not even God can help the unpatriotic selfish people that make up the majority of our nation present in every walk of life.

Remove rebellions along with ganguly.
by VINOD on Sep 18, 2005 07:01 PM

it doesnt matter who rules indian cricket, ganguly has to be sacked and the media should give him the most bad send off of cricket as a punishment for the shame he created to the nation,

no one will forget his heroics but now no one will forget his bad behaviours,

indian board should hear to the 18 players chappell selected and give them the chance to play more and the rest who rebel should go off and never enter into indian cricket.

bcci, dont be so foolish and greedy, make a honest contract to ian frazer and bring him as a proper deputy to chappell,

or the indian public will make BCCI taken into the hands of govt of india.
