Deffinitely. This clearly shows that there was a communication gap between ICC and Match refree. When ICC had cleard Bajji's actions (that too just 18 days back), I donot think that Chris Broad spent more time in analysing Bajji's actions. Looks like he took this decision in a sense of urgency.
It is sad to admit that the real problem lies within our culture. This treatment is heralded to us time and again and we put up with this rubbish !!! When will we learn to stand up and shut these buggers up.
Forget Broad here and in Bangladesh, I'd add Bucknor who seems to have a vendetta against Tendy and Indians in general. Not only did he show his incompetency in this test, but also in the test in Gabba, and that too at such a crucial stages. But we Indians will just sit there and cop it.
The Indian media is just as much to blame. What do we see written all over the papers "Congratulate Bucknor for his 100th test". For Christ sakes when will you lot learn that the only way you get respect is by standing up for your rights!!! You act weak and will be walked all over you. Unfortunately, the cowardly nature after being under the rule Brits for so many years won't go o/night.
I conclude with two points. Firstly, why dont the players unite and fight for what is best for the team and Harbhajan. This should force the board to do the right thing. Second, why doesnt the Indian media wake up and have some pride in their country and put some pressure on Bucknor/Broad and co.
I think, the match refree was very unfair to Bajji. It is only 18 days that he has cleared his bowling action test in australia.so there was no way that he could be caught again.According to me,the BCCI should complaint against the match refree and also against ICC.This can have an effect on Bajji's bowling career.
