this is just a game. why is everyone so agitated about a sportsperson? he may be out of the team fairly/unfairly...that is a debate for the sports pages...
is the LS short of work? let me ask them about the 100s of pending legislations that they need to work on. are we going to waste precious tax-payer rupees on discussing inane, stupid and worthless pursuits. i am sure the honourable MPs have more than worry about a rich, underworked and overpaid cricketer. if u really want to discuss, discuss arjuna awardees of archery selling chat on delhi streets to sustain their livelihood.
in my point, so much debate about ganguly is worthless. let's put an end to this nonsense.
When did the makeup of a cricket team become the business of parliament?? Aren't there more pressing important issues to worry about? Like security, hunger, homelessness, rampaging killer diseases, illiteracy, filth, squalor, rampant unemployent....all the ills - you name it, this country has is in over-abundance. Yet these useless, brainless netas, instead of concentrating on these pressing issues for which they're elected, waste thier time inquiring as to why some cricketer was dropped from the team. Jackasses, the lot! If ganguly was from Maha or Gujerat, this would not have been an issue, but as a Bangla babu, the Bangla CPI comrades are on the warpath, and the UPA must accede to thier demands, lest their wrath be visited upon them.
What the heck is this...? Parliament to discuss sacking of Ganguly...? this is absurd and it is just as shame as MP taking bribes for raising questions...why is parliament there in first case....discussing Ganguly issue in which way related to public..? are they gone mad...and how the hell did speaker allows this to discuss in parliament....is it because left is against saking of ganguly....what is this....shame on these people.....they should answer to public.....
i feel the whole fuss is really unecessary... here its merely a case of bloated bengali egos of the chair warmers in the lok sabha.( the speakers and the left included ) i guess at some point of time everyone has to leave... wonder when indians will learn to leave graciously the way the australians do. Yuvi looks good to take up a place in the middle order. and by the way what does gracious exit mean does the maharaj want others to garland him everytime he goes out to bat in the final stages of his career ?.....in the best interests of the young yuvraj sauvav should hang his boots.
This shows how vella out elected polititians are. Instead of discussing important matters of the state they are getting into politics of sports. I guess West Bengal is going into elections next. Way to waste tax payers money.... Go polititians go.. lets see how low can you get.
Govt should immidiately nationalise BCCI.Team should be selected only thro debate in both the houses>i am sure our Worthy MP's will have all the time to have a one week debate.
We must be the only country in the world whose Parliament debates the selection or otherwise of a player for a game run by a private enterprise. The cricket world is laughing at us.
