ganguly must have beenm the most sucessful captain but its a history.it is not a state game its a national game.so we should look towards victory& goal.i think we should play with those playrs who will we our future for world cup.the most sucessful captain was kapil coz he brought the world cup but ganguly could never make it but then to kapil is a history.people who want to protest can do it but beating some one putalas with shoes is some thing insane & all those should be held behind the bars. if ganguly was mentally strong why he had to quit the captancy of ranjit match should vhave proved to the selectors & bounced back but he is a coward.i salute kiran more for what ever good he has done to cricket.thank god atleast there is no politics now.well done selectors
I guess left parties need to discuss more 'pressing' problems than 'one man' affair which in no way concerned to an 'aam aadmi' which the lefts have alwaya 'taken care of'.so next what ?? i shudder!!.God Save My Country.and i wonder if ganguly is NOT a Bengali then also the honourable members show the same 'concern' ??.can any one answer ??
I fail to understand how these 5 jokers face their own family members, the are liers, liying to themselves. I remember that 20 years back we used to joke about Kiran More that "He has got so many chances and favours that even a KID can learn how to play cricket, this fool is still learning how to play cricket." It is a fact that till date he does not know how to play cricket but he is a master at "HOW TO PLAY POLITICS" THIS is mean, demoralizing, shameful and disgusting. These five and those five who have selected them are the only person who will agree with Saurav's sacking.
Dropping disruptive and parochial Ganguly was one of the best decisions taken by the selection committee with the captain and the coach.
The ICC had already shown Ganguly the door for his unbecoming behaviour on the cricket ground, whether
it is shouting at the umpires or deliberately slowing down the game or removing his shirt on a win and then dancing like a gorilla. Cricket is after all a gentleman's game and such misdemeanour must be dis- couraged. The Indian selection committe has confirmed what the ICC has done.
Also looking at his cricketing prowess he looks more like a spent pony that a battle stallion.
The Bengalis are using this omission of Ganguly for making one more attempt to rule India by chicanery.
Our great democracy and its member must work to solve peoples problem and upliftment of poor and lot of other importanat issues are there. Why they want to interfere in rich mans sports cricket, Indian Govt is not having any control over BCCI. It is seperate institute and they are free to take their own disisions. If Lok Sabha is so concerned about sports they first discuss about our national game Hockey, which is in worst case. Ganguly was good cricketer but don't forget he was not he is.
It is surprising LS is discussing Saurav's SACKING.Then why not Parliament discuss all the Sins committed by Saurav , Dalmiya and the previous BCCI / Selection committees.In the interest of Indian Cricket ,it is better for the politicians to keep away from meddling with the Indian team selection.It is amazing why the Parliamentarians have not interfered when the Injustice was openly done in respect of Mohinder Amarnath , VVS Laxman , Kapil Dev, Kumble and other players in the past.In such case in future Laxman should catch hold of TDP and Congress for his inclusion in the World Cup or else Govt in Power should resign.It is going to be that ridiculous.It is no doubt that Saurav should not be axed from the team but should have been kept in the team whether or not he finds a place in the Indian Team playing Eleven.I really wonder as to how many Talented players have to wait for thier career to be ruined ?It is heartening to note praise worthy comments of the Foreign County Clubs praising our Indian players (comments made by the Surrey County Officials in respect of Anil Kumble).Our Cricketers should earn such a reputation but not demand on the Regional/Political/Religion basis.
