Tendulkar's Secret
by Dr. Sudhir K. Jain on Sep 06, 2003 01:35 PM

It's very satisfying to know that Sachin has been helping 200 children for their education etc. One can believe that other cricketers would also be doing similar charity, and if no, they would and should start now. Can we think of a situation where all Indian politicians would also be doing similar charity?

well now it seems that tendulkar has started showing egotist behaviour in order to cover up his deeds exposed by the ferrari episode.. noone has or can become a great man by praising himself like this.

sachin's efforts are appreciative but still it would be great work is pays back the duty exemption he claimed for his imported car which loss to the national exchequer and all the charity he gave all along the years would definetely be very less when compared to the duty exemption benefit he derived.
sachin please think of it.

after getting bad publicity probably tendulkar is again trying to build up his image. a person earning crores of rupees, making a small contribution does not make him philanthropist. If Govt gives a few crores even a beggar will make liberal donation of a few lakh

Kudos to 10dulkar

This is very good thing. Some(one is sitting next 2 me) may say that he said this to garner publicity for himself. But this is simply in response to the misconception that cricketers dont give money in charity. Also one may ask that if he kept this under wraps for 7 yrs then wat is the need to tell it not.The answer is obvious:Ferrari.
