It may make many people happy to know that some of the world's richest cricketers are contributing to charities. But it is sad to see that those who contribute their charities are being persecuted and ridiculed because they do not want any publicity. It just goes to show that Sachin has not lost any of his humility, which we have seen both on and off the field for more than a decade, even after achieving everything there is to achieve. Maybe now, all those who were at the cricketers throats for not making pewrsonal contributions, will let them go about their business in peace.
Glad to know that the likes of Tendulkar etal contribute to charity, whateverbe the amount.But what percentage? I give Rs.30,000/- per annum as charity on a get home pay of Rs.28000/- per month.That works out at 9 %. What about you all buddies.Just asking not being inquisitive.

I saw an article about Tendulkar's Charity activities and everybody is praising on it. People are not at all seeing their other side.
I am having one question.. WE ARE LIVING IN A DEMOCRATIC COUNTRY AND EVERYBODY IS EQUAL BEFORE LAW IRRESPECTIVE OF CASTE,RELIGION,VIP STATUS ETC. Everybody is Hero in their own field like Abdul Kalam, A.R. Rahman, Military People safeguarding our Border in high altitudes, even a farmer etc. In such case on what basis Tendulkar got waiver for more than One Crore Tax for his Gift Car.
Poor Middle class People who are paying tax are Fools?
We are also earning money in a legal manner and we are paying tax properly and he is living on our Tax and he is getting all applause by doing charity (which is perfectly our money - He has owed Rs. 1 Crore + for all Indians).

I am very much impressed to hear that he is doing that kind of charity work that too for helping poor children in their studies. Initially I had the idea that all cricketers are only money minded and they are minting only money. But after hearing this i should change my negative attitutes towards cricketers..

actually today only i saw an letter of some body that sachin does not have to make india proud by taking ferrari car but can give trust some of this money but now we find that he is doing it from many years. and did not make it highlight like others
