What the author says here is right. Putting MSD on a pedestal initially was wrong, but pulling down is even more wrong. The thing with India is, we are always very very slow learners. What others do, we do it after 10-20 yrs. Even in technology, when the US is moving towads 50gbps unlimited speed, we are very slowly doling out 2mbps (that too, not yet unlimited) to the common man. Same with cricket. Others have done the rotation policy before and stay on their feet in terms of building players. But we opt for players who are good for the particular time, and we dont rotate players and we are doing that now.
Until the Indian mentality changes, we will see more of such performances. but good thing is, we will also see some special performances in between. So best thing is, wait for those performances and when you get bad ones, turn a blind eye and a deaf ear to them.
salim malik was a match fixer and kapil was not really a bowler who could be hit for 7 consecutive fours how did kapil manage to do it , kapil was the biggest match fixer along with azhar at the end of his career
