The Team selection was ridiculous! I think that Irfan and Uthappa and even Dravid would have made a HUGE Difference to the existing squad! To make matter worse, above three and even Ishant does not figure out in Zimbabwe tour. It will be a circus of Indian cricket there. WE need at least THREE Individuals in selection panel and should be with the full consultation of the Coach. Captain's job is to manage the team he has been presented with!!! Hope you all agree!!!
1.Indians think that India is the world no.1 team always though India has been no.1 for more than 3 months only in test cricket. 2.Indians cannot digest that the aussies are the mightiest in cricket with maximum wins.No other team comes anywhere near them in consistency,fitness,technique,adaptability etc. 3.Indians have been screaming that the aussies are not powerful as they were before.But they are going from strength to strength. 4.India won the one day world cup in 1983 and never again.India won the first T20 wc two years before(and may never again at least for the next 20 years). 5.Aussies will continue to dominate cricket making world cricket a one-sided affair demoralising others.So the chances of cricket being played by more countries are slim.At present less than 10 countries play cricket seriously.There seems to be no way out of this black hole other than banning the mighty aussies!This is not possible,hahahaha.
While Dhoni was the captain he took all the credit of winning tournaments and series. If that is the case, there is no point in saying "a captain is as good as the team" when the team is loosing. Shame on u Bikash.
Dhoni said while winning the IPL CUP, that he value it more than the 2009 T20 world cup achievement.
Wht u have to say abt this mindset of Mr. Dhoni ? His blunders in the past didnt came to the fore, because team was winning and it was because of the individual brilliance. What was his contribution as a captain? was it a consistant one ? He is not a good strategist in different conditions, but a great one in flatter asian pitches. All the people knws how a Barbados pitch plays. Why he cudnt push for some fast bowlers ??? Dhoni is a total failure in Different Conditions.

he also said after CSK sealed to semis that it is the duty of each captain to ensure that the team reaches the semis bcoz the franchises pay a lot.

Thakela players like Yuvraj, Vijay,Karthik, Zaheer Khan ( every WC this guy gets injured or thrashed remember Tamim Iqbal or Hayden?), Nehra,Jadeja ,Yusuf should have no place in the team. The above team can field have aggresive hitters and solid batsmen too.

Fisrt 11, would be the ideal playing 11 , with Abhishek getting a game or two.
It is like only India is eliminated. There are quality teams like new zealand, south africa and west indies also out from super 8 stage. One thing we should realize is that the players body language and attitude is poor because of continuous cricket. We have necessary bench strength to have atleast 5 international teams from India it self. We should follow rotational policy. One should remember that this was the same team which won the inaugural edition and there are 7 other teams who have not won once.

No problem if you go down fighting. But India failed to win a single match in super 8. They are only team that had zero points.

in this enviroment of politics, kirsten can do good if he proposes name of Lallo Prasad for the captain. at the same time, he can make sure india remains at same level when dhoni is the captain.
