Its a fight between terrorists and civilians.

Please don't give any religious touch to it. No man in the right mind will do what has been done in Mumbai. We need to be united at this grave hour. Let's not target innocent civilians of our country for the deeds of others.

For now let's give the government our 100% support so that they can handle the situation without other distractions. They are our only hope.

I express my deepest condolences to the family of the deceased. I ask of all to pray for the souls of those who met untimely death.

We should not forget this attack like all the others. Today people remember about 9/11 attacks in US but have no clue as to how many such attacks have happened in India.

27/11 will be the day where we root out terrorists from our country.

Majority of the people has given their support to govt till now but what govt has exactly done yet ??

In US , govt doesn't ask for people's support, govt itself is capable of taking action against terrorism...not only within the country but outside there boundaries as well.

And what can we expect from our Indian govt who only fights for it's vote bank ??

This is not the time to talk about the shortcoming of the government. We all agree that things need to be improved drastically but this is not the right moment to express it.

After the situation has calmed down we should raise these points and take a lesson out of it. Only then will we be able to improve.

But once the situation is calmed down we all forget about the incident and we are back to square one.

India as a country is doing good as compared to most of the nations in the world. Managing one billion people is not easy. No country in the world does it today like India does. So lets have faith in our leader and I am sure they will do wonders even with respect to terrorism.

Time has now come for us to realise that vote bank politics don't matter and we should not fall prey to such promises.

Vishal,
you do speak sense and no sense. you are right that we shouldn't give religious torch, well said!

But the people should only support government with "right policies". Not just put blind faith. If it's the first time, we could assume they were taken off gaurd. But this goes way back and within this year they have been several such instances, so we should still support them. Then they would relax, have a cup of chai and go and shop for blazers and suits.

You are right the Government is the hope, it has been that way since democracy in India. That's no excuse to put blind faith. Please give a week and see if there is any policy shift. Both the major parties would still be on with the same argument. It like dejavu and more indians die. This is sad state of affairs. We should learn from USA. We are copy cats of USA anyways, why not their policies?

I really agree with all that things need to change drastically. But for this moment while the situation is still burning we should not distract the government. They should be 100% focussed on task at hand.

After the situation is calmed down we all should think seriously about what needs to be done and don't go back to square one like previous instances. We have forgotten all the instances of killings in India. As long as it is not in my family who cares. In a way we people are to be blamed as well.

But I am optimistic and I am sure like so many problems we have solved this will be solved to.

But I have my deepest sympathies to those who have lost their dear ones. Not their but our dear ones.
