i am from city in central india, & yesterday after india's thumping victory over france in the olympic qualifying tournament, held in delhi,the celebrations started in right earnest, by bursting of hundreds of crackers. one felt that india has won the olympic gold medal. could not follow why this euphoria for only qualifying. australia,netherlands,germany,spain,south korea,great britain,& pakistan are very tough opponents, this euphoria should end & tough training & practice should commence or otherwise the hockey team will fare the same, as our cricket team in london 2012.

It is a pity that on Sunday through out the day Cricket was telecasted by the Natiobnal Doordarsan for almost about eight hours. However it has (DD) has no time to telecast such an eventful qualifier final of National sport on the same very day in the evening.
