Shameless politicians

When on earth will sports in India flourish? When will it get away from the clutches of politicians? who 1st of all don't know how 2 run the country .How will they ever run sports bodies about which they dont even have a clue.

Where is the law which states the person cannot more than 1 position.

Somewhere Mr.Ajay Maken gave a gud feeling of being a sports person's minister & the govt just conveniently transferred him 2 a useless dept with a promotion.

there is definitely too much of a nexus in sports bodies.the objective of the politician is just 2 look for opportunities 2 make money from every possible source.

There are lot of reputed sports people in this country who can become able administrators

Lastly the IOC should continue to pressurize the IOA the same way & remove the ban only if they clean up the sports mess in India.

Only reason businessmen/politicians want to be involved in sports is to misuse funds for personal gains...

India Must Change !
by Khokon Marachhe on Dec 05, 2012 01:28 PM

I don't simply understand why there is so much of Govt interference in Games Association or Councils ? Why do we allow these greedy, uneducated politicians to head such prestigious units of games which actually should promote athletes & sportsmen with spirit by working in the right directions?

Why not some one like Milkha Singh, PT Usha or any sportsman/women athlete should become the president of IOA, who actually represented India in the games or has at least played the games, knows about the game!

Can you believe Mr. Sharad Power becomes the president of BCCI, tomorrow Mr. Lallu Prasad Yadav will be made so ? Why ?
We have competent players like Sunil Gavaskar, Vengsarkar, Amarnath, Kapildev who should head BCCI.

Time has come youth of India must take the batton on hand to decide and change the image of Young India by way of staging protest against malicious system and bring in the desired change.

We strongly condemn Govt interference in Sports politically rather than aiding it to sprout the spirit !!

burecrat(IAS officers) are most corrupt & even worse than politicain. They are controlling all sports bodies. In north india- they are treated like kings even if he is corrupt & useless.
No respect for sportsperson or any professional/enterprenur in north india. Only govt employee/IAS/politicain controlling the show & looting the country

Politicians who can administer in good way can be considered. We require people like Mr.Sharad Pawar to handle IOA to come out of such issues.

Sometimes terrible things should happen before we change the way things are done. It is time that only retired sportsmen are part of sports administration.
