Sometimes terrible things should happen before we change the way things are done. It is time that only retired sportsmen are part of sports administration.

Where is the

We keep hearing how the "Youth Icon" of this country is the hope of the future Indians. Sports is about the youth - of course, the oldies are entitled to ringside view of what happens.

We have been watching this tamasha going on the IOA for quite sometime now. The most powerful person in this country does not seem to have any interest in cleaning up the mess. And we are told that he is the 'Future of this country". If he had any interest in the future of Indian sport, he could have re-scripted the currency murky goings in Indian sport with one spike of his hand.

If I am an ordinary citizen and I am concerned about the future of Indian sport, should not the "Youth Icon" of this great country be equally interested? By the way, what are his views about sports? No one knows. What are his views on FDI? No one knows. And what is he doing? No one knows.

HOW CAN A POLITICIAN CAN BE IN THE SHOES OF A SPORTS BODY?
by dhulipala santoshkumar on Dec 05, 2012 07:34 AM

A politician's life will be full of politics and he has no knowledge about sports and they come and occupy the seats of sports body which will decide the fate of a sports person who come from various parts of country making all best efforts to make himself a good sports person to represent our country. but the money to be given to him will be eaten away by this politician without playing any games but just sitting infront of TV. if we ask him any question about any sports he will not even know about what sports the question was asked. This is the fate of our SPORTS BODIES.
