Slap and kick on Congress's proverbial rear
by Das on Dec 05, 2012 12:16 AM

This is the worse humiliation and kick in the rear party whose supporters place their loyalty to a family above their nation, and allowed it to make into family run party and by extension family run business. The corruption, inefficiency and nepotism arising directly from this grotesque perversion of democracy are all too apparent. So what can one say except that all this, international humiliation, is all expected.

National Shame : Would do a lot of good for India
by sudip majumder on Dec 04, 2012 11:31 PM

Hopefully the power-to-be wakes up and takes note of this fact. However knowing Indian politicians like shameless mamata mayawati jaya of the world (in fact all politicians) , they would give a hoot to what outsider says as they really dont care. for them as much as corruption be there, as much as the vast majority of Indian remain poor, it is a boon for them. it is a national shame but none really feels for it. They think they way they run the show inthe country they can do exactly the same outside too. I have seen the same traits even our coprporate executives (specially IT ones) too. the way they present themselves in the international arena, one needs to hide under the table to avoid the shame

Greatest event after the medal wins in Olympics
by Iswar Prasad on Dec 04, 2012 11:17 PM  | Hide replies

This is good news. The whole breed of corrupt politicians who were making hay in the name of sports have been put to shame. It is the time and a wonderful opportunity to let sportsmen run the bodies and not shameless politicians. The Sports Ministry is not required. A budgetary support from FM is enough and the sports bodies can do the rest on their own with a CAG audit. We will do better this way. The way Sharad Pawar barged into BCCI was fantastic. Such things should never happen again. I hope that ICC does the same with BCCI.

the Indian sports bodies are going to rightly treated this way.

It is a good warning to India.

The right Indians should feel happy hoping that such warnings will bring right changes.

After the last CWG episode, can you expect that India will get future chances to conduct International Sports events like CWG and Olympic Games?
