Our public should please note the following: 1. It is Andhra Badminton Association which has gifted her and not Sachin. 2. Recognize her achievement rather than finding fault with it. She is a no-nonsense player who does not show off or publicity craving. She is a hard worker.
In a Chinese dominated game (badminton), to win a medal is a big achievement. It is not Saina's fault that her opponent was not fit. Also, Saina had defeated Li Xuerui (gold medalist) in Indonesian open. So, it is not justice done to demean Saina's achievement.
If he is recognizing the achievement of sportsman or woman, then he should give BMW to all the six people who win the medal at London Olympics. Why only for Saina. Jai Ho

ingeminating: saina's winning a medal was under serendipitous circs. she didn't deserve that on a day when she had virtually conceded the match to her chinese opponent. Among the 6 medal winners only Gagan, Y' dutta, and VK are the clear winners while rest 3 (Mary Com underperformed in semifinal), Sushil( bit the ear of Kazakh opponent en route to final)and saina (most lucky to have won a medal thanx to sheer luck)s'd thank their lucky stars since they are not the deserving winners.

Its okey.We should be happy,they all are Indian and our country got six medals.Their names will ever be written as olympic medal winners.Nobody can reach olympic semifinal without capability.Please remember there are 204 participating nations in olympics and it will be unfair to compare Saina only with Chinese shutlers.
By the way,Saina had defeated olympic gold medalist Li_Xuerui in the final of Indonesian Open only 2 months before.So,she is no less than the gold medal winner...

u r misinformed. in none of their 6 encounters including london olympic, saina got the better of Li. please check yr facts and figures. she defeated her rival semifinalist.
