The news says clearly "The felicitation function was organised by vice-president of Andhra Badminton Association Chamundeshwari Nath, who honoured the city girl by buying her the luxurious car.". But the title wrongly implies that the car was actually bought by Tendulkar for Saina. See, the media is also playing its part in worshipping the hero. He only handed over the keys of BMW. That's all. And that does not amount to "gifting" a car. It's only gifting the "car keys".
Public are not aware of anything. The selectors were gunning for Laxman retirement. According to BCCI, when the player become liability or useless for the team. Public or people think when he stops performing for Indian team. This is where normal public has no brain. A player becomes useless when he stops bringing revenue or endorsement to BCCI. Laxman and Dravid although younger than Tendulkar were forced to retire even though Dravid performed exceedingly well in England is because Tendulkar has endorsement 18.1 million dollar per year. Until Tendulkar is a BCCI contract player part of the revenue also goes to BCCI along with other sponsorship deal. After Dhoni Tendulkar is still rising high with costly endorsement. Dravid and Laxman had no recent endorsement. Its logic not even bat sticker sponsorship where both were playing with plain bat. Why would BCCI retire its lucky hen who gives gold egg. Why would Tendulkar listen to sentiments of people and retire and give chance to youngsters. 18.1 million dollar a year is close to 150 crore excluding IPL and BCCI money. Else he has not motive to play after world cup.Tendulkar blind fans won't agree and support his wrong doings
The car is gifted by somebody and someChutiya takes away the honour shamelessly as ever. Not only rediff but the entire media (TV and all) is reporting it like this. These medaiwalas just need an excuse to LickTheASSOf Sachin. They can even take his GooAsChandan and smear it on the country's forehead.

MARY KOM is additional police commissioner she has a battery of Government cars with her? VijayKumar is in Army lot of vehicles, helicopters, tanks for him to ride, Sushilkumar has entire train to check as ticket checker so sachin done some charity for his garage to make vacancy by one car parking space free as parking in mumbai is much more costly than hyderabad so sachin made wise decision to donate?

Pravin Sarode, please wake up....Saina Nehwal had sponsorships and comes from a well of family. Mary Kom came up with lots of hardships and from a poor background against all odds. Mary Kom won 12 Gold Medals in the International Arena and olympics bronze medal. Mary Kom worked out on second hand gym equipment before she went to Olympics..Now who do you think really deserves a BMW or a MUV / SUV ?. How many Industrialists or Corporate CEO's came forward to gift Mary Kom. Isn't this bias just because she is a C*h*i*n*k*i...This is how North Indian players like the little master are biased and unjust....

Abhinav Bindra, Saina Nehwal, Rajvardhan Singh Rathod are Olympians who are f*i*l*t*h*y rich and took to Sports as a hobby not someone like Mary Kom, Yogender and Sushil. They came up from hard middle class background and they deserve to get the best of adulation and support....
He simply handed over the keys while the gift was from Mr Nath.This is height of incorrect reporting & Rediff should apologize to Mr Nath.It is difficult to believe that someone who sold a gift will ever do such a gracious act.
Sachin is not generous enough to shell out money from his own pocket for gifting a car. He evaded Customs duty & Octroi for bringing Ferrari gifted to him by Michael Schumacher. Later he sold Ferrari to some Gujarat businessman.
Rediff should understand that Tendulkar is one chindhichor who auctions his cricket accessories for charity. He will never pay from his own pocket
