We care friend! Along with Saina Nehwal Leander Paes has been the only true Olympian that our country has seen (and this is irrespective of their individual success).

It was treat to watch Tsonga not able to read the serve of Vishnu Vardhan and Paes for most part of the game. I believe he therefore had word of praise for vishnu at the end of the match.

Hats off to Leander & Vishnu. They played like champions. It is high time the indian tennis authorities stop patronising players like Bhupathi & Bopanna who put their ego before the national pride.

Paes is probably the worst player ever. He always keeps putting the blame on his partners. As they won so Vardhan is best.. i they would have lost.. Vardhan would have been treated like Bhupati.

after playing for so many years, Paes is still pathetic and depends on his partners. a true tendulkar of Indian Tennis

Have you ever watched Paes play for the country? Seriously?? If you say the answer is yes, please either get your eyes checked (you may be blind) or get admitted in a mental asylam.

Dude It is you who is blind or needs to be admitted in a mental asylum. Leander Paes is the most patriotic sports person who has played for the country. He has always given more than 100% for the Tricolor.

I fully agree. One should only recollect his matches in Davis Cup as a proof of his commitment. He won several matches against highly ranked players in Davis cup and it was unbelievable. His contribution to Indian Tennis is great.

there was no guarantee that mahesh n leander would win together... even if they played given their level of animosity... so lets not hang mahesh n pity leander here

No doubts on that; however do you remember how Mahesh had talked about Leander and how Lee had kept a dignified silence? People are angry at that behavoior of Mahesh, not because he had lost the match.
