CAG- Congress Advantage Group
CBI- Congress Bureau Investigation
CVC- Congress Working Commettee

Sorry if im wrong but its bitter truth of India, we all have seen so many times what they had done, OC had already spent 80000 crore, and they creating a drama of investigation now they will spent 100 of crores, more burdon of taxes & inflation coming back to public again.

Mr.Rajesh Gupta, I endorse your write up on Congress, the curse of
India. They do opposite to what they say. Congress is the route cause of India's misery, whether castesim, third rated politics, scams, villages being still villages as they were before independence etc.

All the tax payers money has been simply wasted for 11 days festivity simply to improve the image of the congress, not the status of the millions of poor people living elsewhere in India. Keeping on blaming the congress is not going to serve any purpose. We must all united to start a movement that will see the congress thrown out of power. Had congress not ruled this country, by this time India is the super power.

most of the ingenuity at the ceremonies was imported and paid heavily for; what credit are we trying to take?

I read a few comments before mine and started to think. You see, I am a avid internet freak and I was following the CWG progress for some time. I was very unhappy with the corruption involved in the games.
But still, that when the CWG is over, I am thinking in a different way. Let's say a girl from a middle or poor family in India is getting married. The father, although poor, will do everything to make the marriage an extravaganza, right? May be at the cost of his own poverty. He will take loans which will take years to return. But still, he will try his best to make his daughter's marriage worthwhile, right? That is exactly what we Indians did. We may be poor (I said may be, because I am not sure about it, seeing the Sensex and the GDP growth), but still we showed to the world that we can do things as good as other countries can. May be the costing was too great, but still, it is our daughter's marriage we are spending on. It is worth taking loans and paying a high interest for them. It point-of-view might be criticized widely, but think, am I wrong comparing our country with the middle class father?

Agreed. But the man borrows and pays from his own pocket. But here the case if different. We borrowed, and filled our homes. Never forget the amount borrowed is the taxpayer's money. There are so many other ways to tell the world that we are capable.

These games had to be organized by India , Problem of poverty has to be handled and it will be handled , everywhere we cannot put argument of poverty. Anyway poverty is reducing in India , if person is capable enough he finds his daily bread and prospers .I think that most of us IT guys belong to humble background.See everywhere India is developing in all senses , may be our ways are different

tired of bollywood performers
by Ramesh on Oct 15, 2010 06:40 PM  | Hide replies

you read and see these bollywood people everywhere.. in daily tv shows, newspapers and all around us. It is too much to squeeze them here at CWG too and too much for us to bear them again. The bollywood has become like salt which gets added for every dish that we prepare. C'mon guys, we are more than just bollywood. People didn't come to the stadium to sit and do bhajans to the songs those idiot's were singing. Just look at the small show showcased by the scotish guys. What a marvel it was!!... I switched off the tv immediately as soon as I saw those shaan's and shankars doing some cheap dances

Rohit, thanks for u'r comment, but I beg to differ from you. I am a music freak too, but it need not always be sing and dance for every show that we do in India. There can be music and some event to see there at the stadium instead of listening to those local singers trying to show all their emotions in their faces rather than their voice. Their self-forced smiles while singing... forced actions.. all was yuck, vomitable...

what we got in return ????
by Saleem khan on Oct 15, 2010 06:18 PM  | Hide replies

We lost 30,000 crore to arrange CWG where 30 crore people are not getting two times food.
These CWG games were telecast in DD to consolidate the votes by Congress Party.
The percentage of corruptions for the arrangment of CWG transferred to Congress Party for future elections.

30crore people not getting food.
WHOS FAULT IS THAT.
ASK THE PARENTS OF THOSE 30 CRORE PEOPLE THAT IF YOU WAS NOT ABLE TO GIVE THEM ONE MEAL A DAY WHAT RIGHTS DID YOU HAVE TO BRING THEM TO THIS WORLD.
They are not governments children, so why should government worry about them.
THERE IS ENOUGH FOOD FOR ALL IN THE WORLD TELL THESE 30 CRORES TO GO AND EARN A LIVING AND THEN SURELY THEY CAN BUY FOOD.
Otherwise it is their parents fault so let their parents feed them don't look at the government.
30 crore spent.
30 crore not getting two meals.
If 30croer was distributed among these 30crore people that 1 rupee each yes ONE RUPEE.
Now tell me for how long 1 rupee will feed a person.

yes sheetal i agree with you here
its the fault of the parents that if they cant feed their children why give them birth at all

they keep on producing kids and do they expect other people/govt/ngos to fill their stomachs
this is ridiculous

Its wrong figure, Please correct with official figure as 70,000 crore. Also the level of humiliation & corruption is not tolarable to the Poor Indians. It only benefits Delhians & some corrupt politicians. Its very unfortunate !!!
