Whether it was a Common Loot Games or not the fact is that thousands of crores were spent but our hearts go out to the wrestlers who said on TV that they do not even have wrestling mats which are worth thousand rupees, the athelete from a village who does not even have money for track shoes. Why was not even 1 crore spent on them?
People come to india to see its colourful culture, art, heritage. The closing ceremoney failed to project any of these.Perhaps we needed more innovative directors for arranging such events.Congratulations to all that we concluded the event successfully.

Culture art heritage, all was showcased in the opening ceremony when all the athletes from the world around were present. It represented the rich culture of India. Closing ceremony showcased tommoro's India showing power (agni)and promise. that was perfect
Kalmadi was incharge for 1600 crores earmarked for organizing the games. If you donot know, why write bullshit? Rest all was spent by DDA and Sports ministry for sports infrastructure and delhi infrastructure.. He is the man who took the responsibility, definitely sports persons present/past(like me) appreciate relentless effort of Kalmadi in creating a sporting atmosphere in the country which symbolises the emergence of our youth power...

Yes, actually the quality of the stadiums and practice arenas was hailed by everybody. There is a lot of effort behind organising events of this magnitute. Some people are just interested in calculating who earned how much money with no interest in who put how much effort in the organization
