SAINA NEHWAL
by nkpratapan on Oct 14, 2010 04:55 PM

Since last two years, I was watching you closely through some tit-bit news reports; now more often, that u hv grown confident, and humble to be a true Indian girl with much respect to Pullela Gopichand and all seniors and now you hv conquered. Congratulations, you have made your life at this very young age. Congratulations again for you, and your mentor Mr.Gopichand; and also to your proud parents.

This is the real superstar - she lived up to billing

Congratulations! In the end she did it - brilliant. Saina is the real superstar of individual Indian sport. And she lived up to expectations. Time to end the hype of Sania.

Very true. She was the brand ambassador for the games and she lived up to it with full grace. Won both Golds and that's awesome. I am very much sure that she will take home the Olympics Gold as well. A real sportsperson India ever needed. At least now onwards we will have people thinking about multiple sports to follow and engage into.

Hey, another good news is India clinched England to get the 2nd Spot! Go India go... :)

How can India prepare for the 2016 games Part V
by Nikhil Shah on Oct 14, 2010 04:51 PM

Some more details on body types:

Endomorphs are the opposite of ectomorphs. They
produce higher levels of cholesterol and
triglycerides, the fat in our blood, and tend to be
heavier than people in the other two categories.

Mesomorphs, the third group, retain calcium better,
that helps build stronger bones and thicker muscle
mass. They also have more testosterone (even if they
are women) than the other two types.

Ectomorphs stay slim, in part, because of their higher metaboilc rates.

In conclusion, the Indian Olympic program starts from
the general public and is a two way street.

All parents with potentially tall and lanky kids or
strong kids who have interest in putting there kids
in sports should get together in bigger cities.

Someone needs to organize an event in all our cities
and get about 10 to 15 thousand kids involved. You
can then filter out through trials and recruit them
into major programs in various sports.

BHARATIYA INDIAN
Commonwealth Games
by BHARATIYA INDIAN on Oct 14, 2010 04:47 PM  | Hide replies

The 'Wealth' of 'Common' people from nearly 100 countries was looted by the British, while they ruled these countries.
Even after independence, we bow to the Queen of England or her representative and carry her 'Baton' (Rajdand in Hindi) like her servants and pages.
India should not remain in the Commonwealth - its a shame that even Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe has more courage than Indian government and has left the Commonwealth.
