Lets bask in glory
by sunil m on Oct 14, 2010 04:10 PM  | Hide replies

Its a proud day in history of Indian sports. Yes few English stars didnt show up. It is English problem they got to sort it out. I think English commonwealth team thought they will anyway win the second spot and Canadians will be third. So they miscalculated. What it proves are we are now among big players. I don't want to say that we will win a lot of medals in Olympics But there is a great possibility that somewhere among the ten candidates running for gold there will be some Blue colour for whom I will cheer. We should be thankfull to these stars who will be there giving us hope that we might win a medal. I have no doubt that whether we will get that extra half second or that half centimeter or that half twist. Its matter of when.

Why Ausie defeated India in hockey???
by pramod Ekka on Oct 14, 2010 04:05 PM

Best hockey players were not selected
Most of the players were from Punjab
Many of the players have become old to compete in the international matches
Hockey in the grassroot level is vanishing
Wrong managers handling Indian hockey game
